My tech work is so visual, I finally realized I need a demo reel! youtube.com/watch?v=-hQhgr6t… Dang, I've made some cool stuff 😄
Sorry, I don't really know how to fix it, except to say you should be seeing it, so maybe Superhive tech-support can help? Version 5.01 is out now… Here's what I'm seeing on my downloads page for the product:
Our film The Little Bird won an audience choice award at the recent "For the Love of Film" shorts festival! There were so many great films there…it was a pleasure to meet many of the filmmakers, and an honor to be recognized for our work! ❤️
ALT Movie poster for The Little Bird (showing a man on a bench looking into the distance with a little bird in the foreground); banner for the "For the Love of Film" shorts festival; audience choice award from the festival.
"The Little Bird", with my VFX work, just won Best Student Film at the Poulsbo Film Festival! It's coming to the Bainbridge Island Film Festival next, if you're in the area: bifilmfest2025.eventive.org/…
ALT Movie poster for the short film "The Little Bird". In the foreground, a cute, cartoon bird. In the background, out of focus, a man on a bench looking off into the distance.
The Seattle Blender Users Group made a movie for the 48 Hour Film Project this year, and I did some of the VFX! I hereby present Little Faustian Library, starring @JonLampel: youtube.com/watch?v=E7_LTg1a… Content warning: comic gore.
I'm volunteering my time doing VFX for a friend's fairytale film; building up my skills. The footage looks good, and I'm looking for more people who'd like to get involved! If you're into 3D and/or VFX and you'd like to join a team working on a creative project, let me know! #vfx
ALT An early draft VFX shot for a fairytale movie. It shows a princess (back to the camera) and some kind of beast in a forest setting.

This video from @brianklaas talks about a lot of the things I've been thinking about lately, particularly how the old mechanistic view of the world no longer applies and how we need to embrace an understanding of complex systems. youtube.com/watch?v=TLm6dC34…
I made a thing! Hunt for new music in VR 👀 Here's a demo: youtube.com/watch?v=T-xZSC9H…
