🇨🇦 Canada’s message to russia:
You don’t get to bomb Ukrainian cities and then send your juniors to play hockey in Alberta like civilised people.
No Russian or Belarusian teams at the World Juniors. Not under your flag. Not under any other. Period.
Thanks @KennyMasonMady and @mason_john9176 for hosting! Have a great week everyone! #USGeocachingHour
A6: Veterans' Memorial Monument-Lest We Forget (GCV3JM). This cache was hidden 20 years ago in the town near where I live, and the annual Remembrance Day ceremony is held there. #USGeocachingHour
A5: Well, recetly I mentioned eastriver, who hid Canada's first cache. This time I'll give a shout out to Tracker and NyanKing, two cachers in Ukraine, both of whom have done cache maintenance for me on my caches in Kyiv. #USGeocachingHour
A4: Well, Thanksgiving here in Canada was actually last month. :) But caching wasn't part of it. My family are muggles. Lately about the only caching I do is maintenance on my hides, which I need to do more of soon.... #USGeocachingHour
A3: These days I'm keeping my headlamps charged up, but for doing other things after dark. I couldn't say for sure the last time I went caching after dark, but it's been some time. #USGeocachingHour
A2: I just stay out of the deep woods this time of year. I have safety vests I could dig out and put on, but the places I am I'm not concerned about hunters. #USGeocachingHour
A1: Evening folks. Islander1988 in Nova Scotia.
Well, it's dark outside at the moment. :) Still colourful leaves, a lot on our lawn. Today was unseasonably warm. Looks like a mild week ahead. #USGeocachingHour

“Our ultimate goal is not Russia without gasoline. Our ultimate goal is Ukraine without Russia.
Ukraine without war. Ukraine with Europe. And Ukraine and Europe without the Moscow threat.”
..........
Thank you to everyone who stood up in defense of Ukraine.🫡🇺🇦

Dear world,
While you're going to bed, Kyiv families are heading underground to escape another night of russian terror.
Children will sleep on metro station floors. Parents will pray to see the morning.
This is Europe. This is tonight.
Have a good week all! See you after the time change. #USGeocachingHour
A6: Signal decides to do a Highlander/Legend of Sleepy Hollow mash-up for his Halloween costume this year. #USGeocachingHour
A5: If I wanted an evening cache, I'd keep it simple. A park & grab or urban cache maybe. If something hidden on a trail, a low D/T with not too far to walk. #USGeocachingHour
A4: I think I'd still keep it. While I don't like getting up an hour earlier in the spring, the extra hour to sleep in in the autumn is nice (if only the feeling lasted longer). I might be tempted tho to change it back to the end of October like it used to be. #USGeocachingHour
A3: If I saw Reese Peanut Butter Cups half off it would be hard not to grab some. Also maybe some Smarties or Hershey's kisses? Nice to have something you can eat a few at a time to make them last (if I could muster the will power). #USGeocachingHour
A2: I'd probably keep it simple. Maybe a plastic jack-o-lantern with a tight container inside for the log and trade items. #USGeocachingHour
A1: Islander1988 here in Nova Scotia. It was a warm day today & I was quite comfortable outside with a vest over my shirt. Tomorrow though looks like I'll need a jacket as the high will be 8°C. #USGeocachingHour

Russian ballistic missiles struck the grounds of a university in Kyiv and the area around it – effectively the campus, Kyoto Park, the area near a metro station, and residential buildings. The exact number of casualties is not yet known. But tragically, there are victims. There are people injured. Rescue operations are underway. There is extensive damage, and there are also reports that people may be trapped under the rubble. All emergency services are at the scene and doing their work – saving lives. The missiles hit very crowded areas, and there is not a single military facility nearby. This was a strike directly on the city, on its infrastructure. Unfortunately, there may be more strikes coming. The attack with “shaheds” is also continuing – against Kyiv and our other cities and communities.
And it is precisely under such circumstances, when the threat is constant, when strikes can come at any moment and target cities and villages directly, that artificial delays in providing air defense to Ukraine help terror. It is important that political agreements be implemented promptly at the team level. It is important that our partners understand that Ukraine needs the proper tools to destroy Russian ballistic missile launchers. This would be the most effective way to save lives. It is important that the world sees that Russia is showing nothing but a desire to kill and continue waging war. Ukraine must not be left to face this alone, and it is solely Russia’s fault that the war is still going on and people are still dying. Please take care of yourselves. All partners should stand with Ukraine – with the protection of lives.

Russians now randomly murdering whole cars full of people in Kyiv with jet drones, now that the Starlink on which Ukraine's new interceptors rely no longer functions, due to Trump's operation to force Zelensky to sign a fake peace agreement to save US midterm elections.
Kyiv, this morning.
Thanks everyone! Have a good night & good week. #USGeocachingHour
