"Space, the final frontier" from Star Trek...although not entirely true (think deep ocean, atomic, consciousness, etc), it always sparks my imagination! The mission here at @MTspaceport is one of the most exciting things I've ever been involved in! To the stars! 馃殌

I am running Grok @bot and Hermes, with a git connected dir for them to collab. That dir is also inside of my @obsdmd vault, so any artifacts from my agents show up for me. I even have it using my @MarkTodoApp syntax so tasks automatically show up in my app. Details post to come

Trying out the new @xai subs...having the overall package with Cursor and Grok Bot, along with all of the X Premium features included seems like a good deal. But, I have noticed @grok is slower with general queries (vs chatgpt), nothing too bad though. Also, I have heard Grok is not good with UI code so not sure if that will replace my Claude sub for webdev work. I also use my CGPT sub for my local Hermes agent, so I need to research whether Grok allows sub usage or if it's only API. So many things to keep up on in this crazy AI space.

I鈥檝e been asked why @marktodoapp is Android only right now. It鈥檚 not a technical limitation. I intentionally built it with React Native so iOS is possible, and I鈥檝e shipped iOS apps before. The issue is simply cost and Apple鈥檚 restrictive dev policies 馃У

As a solo dev supporting a family through client/contract work, spending thousands to support a platform I do not make money off of doesn鈥檛 make sense yet. I鈥檇 would definitely support iOS someday if there鈥檚 enough demand/support, or donated test hardware to justify it. ...

A personal rant: requiring Apple hardware + Xcode (terrible to use btw) is exactly the kind of Apple moat that makes me dislike them. Not to mention being way overpriced.

I would like to share my new @marktodoapp. It is an @obsdmd plugin and Android app (in Play Store review). Born out of long hours wanting more from every other productivity system or plugin, it is unique for a couple of reasons. In brevity: 1. Designed for mobile ...

5. A very innovate 3 pane system Android app that relies on the plugin, your vault, and your sync choice, nothing else. My website has explanations, docs, screenshots, and a Discord server link if you feel so inclined. Happy to answer any questions馃檪

Stack: - A separate dedicated profile on my @NousResearch Hermes server - Family @discord server, with per kid channels, a parents channel, and most importantly a mom channel

for some dumb reason this platform cutoff my intro post - I hate this arbitrary limit without paying way too much for premium. Anyways, whole thread is about an automated family homeschool system.

The mom channel is to drop templated markdown schedules into, or to dynamically conversate/build schedules. This also is a place to revise and receive reports of specific kids progress. Each calendar entry has the details for book, chapter or any other context needed.

Anytime a parent is needed for a subject, @ mom / dad automatically invites the appropriate Google calendar to the event so it shows on our calendars. First week using it, and I don't know why I didn't build this sooner. This is technology serving humans, as it always should be
