Just finished Shadow of the Torturer by Gene Wolfe and its remarkable. Easily one of the best sci-fi novels.
May end up getting a kindle soon. Would make working out way easier than carrying a book around and getting sweat all over the pages.
It’s kinda crazy that I have 500+ hours on Fallout 76 and haven’t touched it much at all this year. Not sure if it is burnout or just lack of direction now. I’ve pretty much done everything except min/max and collect every rare blueprint
Haven’t made a lot of reading progress in Oct unfortunately but it’s entirely due to me watching more movies and shows late at night instead of reading lmao
Nothing like listening to Oasis and reading how bureaucracy blurs acts of complicity in state sanctioned mass murder (started the kindly ones)

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Legit the funniest thing I've ever taken because it lumps nuclear energy in with AI advancement (no sane person should)

It's a bit of a low bar kind of thing, but I would love to one day get the Bulova Lunar Pilot, and obviously a Tissot PRX.
