When playing it as a prospective member in 19’, we had 3 groups of guys buy us beers and say they hoped we joined. That sold me. Idlewild has a very strong community. If you like to play , move fast-ish , and generally are a nice guy - you will fit right in.

My own story - was a member at Calumet CC after playing Ravisloe on Saturday. I just didn’t want to go home yet with a friend. We stopped at CCC. 2 weeks later , I joined. When that became public 19 of us went south in Dixie Highway to Idlewild

Just received a text with these pics from a Supe demoing the #ceora on a few fairways. The course has received over 8 inches of rain over the last 7 days and the fairways we are maintaining are the best on the course. @HusqvarnaUSA

@TurfwerksAR has a full load of robots Chicago-bound to be installed on 6 driving ranges. The Ceora model robots are equipped with ball deflectors allowing them to continue to mow without a clean picked range.

They’re the future for sure! We’re looking to implement some 580’s and a Ceora on our practice area/driving range and hole 1 soon. Can’t wait! We recently demoed a Ceora with a ball deflector on our driving range floor and tee and it’s a game changer!

You can advance sooooo much in life just by having a work ethic and decent intelligence. Not a popular thing to say but most ppl are lazy. Adults talk about kids being lazy but I see plenty of adults who are just as lazy with more responsibilities and opportunity.

You need a chip on your shoulder if you’re pursuing greatness or something historic in your personal life. Ppl will try to make you feel weird for having an intensity or a sense of urgency with what you’re doing…. Don’t let them. Consider the intensity you have a privilege!
