COMING SOON: Oklo’s first Aurora powerhouse @INL.
The Aurora-INL is our first planned commercial powerhouse and an opportunity to build the playbook for the powerhouses that follow. Every step, from construction and supply chain execution to system integration and authorization, is helping us learn how to build faster, smarter, and at scale.
With a 2028 startup in sight, we’re turning years of engineering into something much bigger than a single project. We’re building the foundation for a new approach to nuclear power.
$IONQ “For us, the ‘put up or shut up’ milestone that matters most is shipping Superion 256 and then subsequently Superion 10K.” -@sakacc
Execution matters. Love that the teams at $IONQ never stop.
While travelling all over to spend time with customers, partners and the team, took a beat to put down thoughts on what's what in our part of Quantum the world, the race to scaled FTQC. "Put up or shut up: Part Deux" here: medium.com/@sakacc/put-up-or… My own thoughts, always.
Quantum breakthroughs are opening new possibilities. Hear how these are becoming capabilities government use.
"The Quantum Advantage: From Breakthrough Technology to Mission and Market Impact," presented by IonQ, is now available on demand.
@FRoseDC explores that question with @NiccoloDeMasi, @GovWesMoore, Robert Cardillo, Dr. Gretchen Campbell, and Masako Yamada.
Three takeaways from the conversations:
🔸 Quantum's potential extends across computing, sensing, networking and security.
🔸 Clear mission challenges help connect scientific progress with useful outcomes.
🔸 Readiness requires hardware access, partnerships and people with a broad range of skills.

$NVDA just ran a record 104-qubit fault-tolerant quantum simulation using 8,192 GPUs at Europe's JUPITER supercomputer validating a technique that could require 90% fewer physical qubits.
This comes as $GOOGL advances same approach on actual quantum hardware and Anthropic uses AI to design more efficient quantum circuits bringing hardware development, AI and classical simulation closer together.

$QNT just reached 99.9995% logical fidelity on Helios with only five errors per million operations beating its previous record by 10x and $GOOGL published result by 100x.
Also great to see how each increase in error correction strength reduced errors by another 12x putting Quantinuum ahead of its 2027 accuracy target as it works toward fault tolerant quantum computing by 2029.
$IONQ 👀
Anthropic says Claude Mythos could bring quantum computing “within reach sooner” after designing circuits that make a critical operation ~17x cheaper.
What makes this interesting is AI can now design, test and improve these circuits on its own so that opens the door to faster breakthroughs across quantum computing without waiting for better hardware.

$IONQ is launching two radar satellites aboard $SPCX on Monday that will fly in formation to detect tiny movements in the Earth’s surface for defense and infrastructure customers.
What makes this interesting is IonQ already began selling millimeter-level radar data through Capella in Q2 and these satellites could make that service more valuable while expanding its space business beyond quantum computing.

Some magical progress towards "magic state" in quantum!
Our @GoogleQuantumAI team has demonstrated "magic state cultivation" on physical hardware for the first time. The result is a 40x error reduction on our Willow processor vs. previous methods, achieving a state-of-the-art 99.99% logical fidelity.
It's another step towards useful, error-corrected quantum computers to help solve the hardest problems. The result is published in Science today, watch the video below to see how it works
$IONQ who else bought the dips yesterday?
Let’s go!
$IONQ I bought the dips today - twice.
Am I happy about the dilution? No. Especially when I’ve just bought more shares yesterday and on last Friday.
As many of the other long-term $IONQ investors here on @X, I’m not thrilled about the announcement this morning.
Do I believe in the management team? Yes.
They’ve shown what they can accomplish and make incredible progress in the last 18 months.
As many of you know, I’ve been an $IONQ investor since 2021 and it’s grown to by my largest position. My portfolio hasn’t been pretty this year ($OKLO didn't help).
With that being said, I will remain a long-term investor as I believe in the strategic approach and the tactical execution of $IONQ and its leadership team.
As individuals, we invest looking for future returns and gains in the market. That returns and gains will come.
Still haven't sold a single share.

🚀 We're getting ready to send two more satellites into space!
Next Monday, October 19, our newest @capellaspace synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites, Acadia-11 (C-21) and Acadia-12 (C-22), are targeting launch aboard @SpaceX's #Bandwagon5 mission from Cape Canaveral, Florida.
Our mission, “Catch Me If You Can,” gets its name from the satellites' planned formation flight, with one following the other along the same orbital path.
Together, they depict two fish circling and chasing one another, symbolizing the orbital dance happening hundreds of kilometers above Earth.
These satellites will help advance bistatic SAR and interferometric SAR (InSAR) capabilities, enabling more precise monitoring of changes on Earth's surface.
Our satellites are designed, built, and operated by our incredible team in Colorado. A huge thank you to everyone whose hard work and dedication make missions like this possible!
We're ready for liftoff!

$IONQ The official release on the Cambridge centre is out.
IonQ will deploy a Superion 256-qubit quantum computer at the University, plus an on-campus quantum network of two Quantum Networking Data Centres and three Quantum Networking Nodes. The existing Cambridge-to-Bristol quantum network will also be strengthened.
One of the nine projects will develop microscopic mirrors to collect light from trapped ions more efficiently, laying the groundwork for optical connections between quantum processors.
"That work feeds directly into our platform roadmap, and it gives researchers, partners, and customers a stronger foundation to build on," said Jordan Shapiro, President, Quantum Platform at IonQ.
"This is a long-term commitment to the United Kingdom, built for researchers, start-ups, and industry alike," said @NiccoloDeMasi, Chairman and CEO of @IonQ_Inc.

$IONQ Today, the IonQ Quantum Innovation Centre officially opened at the University of Cambridge, inside the Ray Dolby Centre, the new home of the Cavendish Laboratory.
Niccolo de Masi, himself a Cambridge graduate, opened it with Sir John Aston, alongside Mihir Bhaskar and Chris Ballance.
As a reminder, this Centre is part of the strategic partnership IonQ and Cambridge established in March, the largest corporate research partnership in the University's history. It includes a 256-qubit IonQ system, which will be the most powerful quantum computer in the UK, and funded research projects to turn academic discovery into commercial quantum applications.
Nine projects were selected in the first funding round. Prof. Namshik Han's is the only biomedical one, with a clear target: drug targets chosen on this machine and tested in human cells by 2029.
In his words: "Cambridge helped write the history of quantum physics. Now it starts a new one: building quantum computers."

Is capital finally rotating out of the highly concentrated semi and neo cloud into other sectors?
if you're wondering why the 10-year is down today even though CPI had a horrible print...which should be causing yields to go up because that means we have a higher chance of a rate hike due to more inflation...
i *think* it's because the bond market wants to see the stock market go down.
and not just stocks, but AI/semi/capex stocks in particular.
the theory i've had over the past couple of weeks is that as we see more issuance of corporate debt in order to fuel capex...that is obviously competing with the long end of the curve for US treasuries
i mean, one can even argue that bond yields we're going to go up regardless of the oil issues because those yields simply couldn't stay at 4% if meta/google/amzn/msft were offering 6-7% on their corporate debt
so the obvious answer now could be for there to be LESS competition with the US 10-year...but the only way for that to happen is for their to be lower-yielding debt from the hyperscalers that are issuing bonds to fuel their capex spend
well...the only way that happens is if the capex stops, slows down, or the cost to build these datacenters drop so that the borrowing costs drop
which is why we have seen yields RISE every day over the past few weeks when semis go up and we are seeing them go down when semis go down...it's like the credit market is saying "we will only buy bonds if you guys stop buying semis"
this doesn't mean that stocks writ-large have to go down, but it does mean that the credit markets are asking for something to break in the equity markets and its like they want semis to be the main culprit. if semis keep going to the moon, cool, but then so will yields and then maybe a 6% 10-year is what breaks everything?
not sure if this theory is right but the objectively true part is the competition between US corp debt and treasuries, if all that corp debt is going to buy semis then when semis go down, it makes sense for treasuries to go up
the easiest way to get SOME relief here is for Trump to end the war so gas/energy comes down and puts relief on inflation...but today's CPI showed the opposite and yields STILL went down because semis got hit
it's a very, very weird time to understand how the bond market is navigating the AI trade
