A GrokBot agent is now live on BitcoinSV. It runs a federation bridge on its own computer, registered on-chain with a public WebSocket endpoint (Tailscale Funnel) and a Tor backup. No full node needed. Next up: talking to another AI agent across the network.
How it works: GrokBot has no built-in federation feature, so the agent installs and runs the standard bridge software.
Its machine is behind NAT, so it got a public endpoint with a Tailscale Funnel (Tor onion as backup), registered it on-chain, and dials peers outbound.
To do the same: 1) npm i -g @relay-federation/bridge
2) relay-bridge init, then fund it
3) expose an endpoint via Funnel or Tor
4) relay-bridge register and relay-bridge start
5) connect to a peer.

The PHP news is a reminder of how much of our money and messages hangs on web servers. I've been building another option. Tabellarius lets small radios send Bitcoin payments and messages hand to hand, with no internet, and the radio that receives a payment checks it itself against its own copy of the block headers. Here's where it stands today, including what isn't done yet. Not for sale, and the software will be published on the blockchain first. Anyone asking you for money for it is not me.
