I continue to ask God to use me for His glory, and I’m so grateful to be surrounded by people who truly understand the importance of serving, along with the resources needed to host such an event.
Using blessings to bless others.💙

You have been one of the greatest gifts that life has given me. As a father, I’m excited about your life in 2025 and moving forward.
Monarch Nation,
where did the time go?
For 4 years, I gave my all to being the best player, student, and person I could be. Your unwavering love & support meant everything. Through every high & low, you stood by me. Thanks for everything.
Monarch for Life. 💙

There was no way I was going to miss this senior night. When I walked in and saw him in uniform I knew something was up. This young man will go far in whatever path he chooses. Was there the day episode one hit in Georgia and saw it in the fall. Great job @imo_essien

Those were definitely some emotional moments...nothing but happy tears! Thanks, @ZStatonSports! You know we do it BIG in Texas, and we showed up strong at Chartway last night. More than 20 of us were there to honor Imo, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! #proudmom
With a tear in his eye, @imo_essien is in @ODU_MBB starting five.
He's missed his senior year after a flare up of a cardiovascular issue this summer.
On senior day, he got his deserved flowers. He played just a few seconds, but perhaps the most emotional of his career. @WTKR3

From a personal standpoint, Imo's the most positive athlete I've ever met doing this job.
His situation is beyond unfair, yet he's always got a smile and joke for you. Every teammate has said what a leader he is. You could see that given back to him today.
Rooting for him.
