Yusuf, you mustn’t discuss everything on the face value of what you read. It may seem like conspiracy to you, but some people have lived experience and were actual grown men at the onset of the new wave of Salafism in the 80s and 90s.
I say this not to undermine your knowledge.
You are supposed to be an elderly man on this space. I don’t know what you stand to gain in peddling this kind of cheap propaganda.
Elderly men can sometimes be ignorant of something. It therefore behoves the young ones to enlighten them.
First of all, the 100 billion fund is Saudi Arabia’s entire official global humanitarian and developmental aid budget spanning decades. Unfortunately, you dishonestly labeled it as a fund to spread terrorism.
Go and verify those who have benefited from the humanitarian programs. You will see how they have funded UNICEF to fund global education programs and prevent polio epidemics. What about “Project Masam”? What about “Malath”? All of these are projects that have greatly benefited non-Muslim countries because the aim was to provide humanitarian relief.
Therefore, what you said about the 100 billion is nothing but falsehood.
Secondly, the Saudi Arabia you are blaming is actually the primary target of ISIS and Al-Qaeda. Why? Because these terrorist groups follow the Khawarij ideology.
They declare the Saudi government as apostates for allying with the international community to fight terrorism, and their ultimate goal is to overthrow the Saudi monarchy to seize control of the Two Holy Mosques for their fake "Caliphate." At the very least, we heard this from Shekau himself when he was excommunicating everyone on video.
At the very least for those who are sincere, Salafism strictly teaches obedience to constituted authority and forbids armed rebellion, which completely invalidates the terrorists' agenda.
This is exactly why Boko Haram assassinated prominent Salafi scholars in Nigeria such as Sheikh Ja'afar Mahmud Adam. He was a proud product of Madinah University, and they killed him because his sound Islamic education was openly destroying their extremist ideologies.
Contrary to your claims about the scholarships they give, Saudi Arabian Islamic Universities produce global assets, not terrorists.
At least in Nigeria, Medina graduates are part of the front runners of Islamic finance. The frameworks bringing great alternative investments into Nigeria’s economy are heavily driven by Madinah graduates such as Prof. Abdul Majeed Alaro and Dr. Bashir Aliyu Umar, who both sit on the CBN Financial Regulation Advisory Council of Experts.
Even when Dangote Industries wanted to conduct their Halal screening and certification, the experts who championed those technical panels were products of this same Madinah University.
I can go on and on, but I don’t want to give these online bandits something to feast on.
You are just grouping things you hate together to sound intellectual. Respect your age and verify your claims before misleading the public.
In this video, the part I like is: “I got the advice from a mad man.”
Whoever did that to us in 2022 really had us under a spell. 🤣🤣🤣
Anyways, please drink cold water, and this time please remember who gave you the advice; Aproko Doctor!!!
They may have given fatwas that my people are following. Now their books are banned. If they have authenticated a Hadith and I dare say I won’t follow, I’d be fair game to yan izala.
Islamic University of Madinah Bans Books of 100 Islamic Scholars
The Islamic University of Madinah has imposed a ban on books by 100 scholars.
Among the scholars blacklisted were the founding members of the Islamic University of Madinah, Maulana Abu A'la al-Maududi and Sheikh Abul Hasan al-Nadwi.
Among the scholars blacklisted who are currently detained include Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Tarafe, Sheikh Salman al-Awdah, Sheikh Muhammad Musa al-Shareef, Sheikh Suleiman al-Alwan, Sheikh Nasser al-Omar and Sheikh Safar al-Hawali.
Books by Imam Hasan al-Banna and Syed Qutb are also banned.
I think the entire non-izala Muslim ummah let this happen to them because of their docility.
First they started with capturing political control.
Then they started arresting fellow Muslims for having different interpretations.
They’ve gone one notch further; killing.
No single verse😳. Seriously?
Mallam anya qur’ani ka karanta kuwa?
Replying to @EngrPrince26
Do you see me justifying his killing? It is a must in as much as you're practising islam, there isn't a single verse in the Qura'an that speaks about the Five daily prayers, how to perform and much more.

Religious extremism has cost Northern Nigeria dearly. Imagine where we would be if the trillions spent fighting insurgency and rebuilding devastated communities had gone into education, agriculture, healthcare and infrastructure.
Yeah, I read the article. The caption actually betrays the content which, in my observation, actually gave a positive impression of the revered Sheikh.
So I’ll prefer to put this in the context of a writer simply using the word to show how the Mallam was viewed.
BBC called him controversial.
@imp213x we have a big problem seems this people are promoting extremism with their media
For a moment here I’m thinking: If Sheikh Nasir al-din Al-Albany were to live his life in Arewa at the time he sifted thousands of Hadiths, I bet he wouldn’t have survived it.
They’d kill him for apostasy for daring to declare many Hadiths unauthentic.
What a time!
The comments under this tweet are scary. We can’t even be Muslim enough to avert the tragedy that sectarianism has become in Arewa.
You are either a Wahhabist or your life is fair game to the gatekeepers of Islamic theology.
This is not good.
I am just learning about the assassination of Sheikh Yahaya Masussuka, one of the most refreshing and intellectually stimulating Muslim clerics Nigeria has seen in recent years. His death has left a vacuum I do not see being filled anytime soon. He was extraordinarily different and courageous, an uncompromising advocate of religious tolerance and a society in which people of different beliefs could coexist peacefully. He was also unafraid to ask probing questions about faith and challenge imposed dogmas. I am, to say the least, devastated and frightened by what this says about this dangerous place we call our region. May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest and comfort his loved ones.
Ok, I’m stopping here. No need to keep going. At this point, politics would be a better place to continue and retire.
Perhaps the safest and most guaranteed job out there.
Microsoft offers buyouts to 60,000 employees. This latest exit offer is available to far more employees than the previous retirement one, and comes just months after Microsoft laid off 4,800 employees. Full details here 👇theverge.com/tech/1018666/mi…
If PBAT let this slide, I will be very pained.
Check my tweet history, apart from Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB, SHEKAU, BH and bandits, I’ve never wished anyone prison time, but this lady deserves a taste of it.
The DSS and NIA should act immediately.
IF THIS IS ALLOWED TO FLY , MORE WILL COME OUT ! BUHARI DIDNT TAKE SOMETHING NOT EVEN THIS VILE EASY !
@OfficialDSSNG @NPF_NCCC @SenGodswill @abikedabiri
I call on the relevant Nigerian law enforcement agencies and prosecuting authorities to carefully investigate the alleged derogatory statements directed at Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu. @SenRemiTinubu
PBAT @officialABAT SHE NEEDS TO BRING PROOF

“I’m disappointed with the crowd APC mobilised in Kaduna,” says a concerned member of the opposition.
Oga, na our crowd disappoint you, or na your expectations betray you? 😂 You were prepared to mock an empty venue, only to become a crowd analyst. Too early to panic, mana. By the way, thank you all for the extra publicity. Campaigning for us while rooting against us…what a fine display of sportsmanship! 👏🏻✌️

They’ve spent the last 24 hours trying so hard to discredit and misinform. If this is the opposition’s grand strategy, I feel sorry for the young comrades in their ranks. In three months’ time, your benefactors will cross over, leaving you here with nothing but dogon turanci and screenshots of your ‘fire tweets.’ Wise up! 😂
Thank you Kaduna!

The good people of Kaduna are out to welcome and celebrate with President Tinubu and @ubasanius
#RenewedHopeInKaduna
In all my life, I never imagined that any politician would command the kind of love and support Arewa gave to the late President Muhammadu Buhari. But to my surprise, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is gathering even bigger crowds!
In all my years of living in Kaduna, I have never seen the city this crowded. The message is clear: Arewa is ready to vote for Tinubu again in 2027!
#ArewaForAsiwaju #A4A
There isn’t a contest for 2027.
What I think the APC should be doing now is to start preparing who takes over in 2031, and strong enough to continue the laudable leadership PBAT has brought to Nigeria.
