just put out a huuuuge update to DitherEffect. the app now has more dithering algos & ways to adjust them than any other dithering app out there. massive speedups across every aspect of the app. +gif support (was only video+still before).
had an old threadripper 3960x with 256gb ram gathering dust 😂 t3 moving itself to the pc as we speak
Hey brother, try DitherEffect. A lot more halftone and print settings, also free.
new Modulation Dithering + CRT preset just dropped! apply it to your photos, videos or live capture. thousands of ways to customize it, REALTIME on any device with a browser, even your phone 🤯
You can now import and export JXL in DitherEffect 🫡
Chrome 155 adds support for JPEG XL (.jxl) → goo.gle/4yYpSjW
Expect 30-50% smaller file sizes than traditional JPEGs, native HDR, progressive rendering, and lossless JPEG transcoding.
Under the hood, Chrome uses jxl-rs, a pure Rust decoder built for maximum memory safety and performance.
people who think anthropic actually lost $80 billion are unserious people who only read headlines.
