What's Driving Solana's Come Back? I did a deep dive into the @solana ecosystem, from blockchain art to airdrops and what's causing its comeback. Here is what I found... You can find the link below ✌️ 🧱 What is Solana? #Solana is a high-speed, cost-efficient blockchain that uses SOL as its cryptocurrency. It achieves this efficiency through Proof of Stake (PoS) and Solana’s unique method, Proof of History (PoH). PoS is a consensus mechanism where users stake their cryptocurrency to validate transactions, while PoH creates a cryptographic timestamp to establish the sequence and timing of transactions, enhancing the speed of transaction validation on the blockchain. 🏪 Solana NFT marketplaces @exchgART is second to no one regarding artists’ release options (1/1s, multi-editions, and collections); it is moving the needle regarding the crypto art movement in Solana. @CodeCanvas_Art powers long-form generative art using the curated model. So far, 8 artists have released generative art collections. @MagicEden This is the Opensea of Solana, indexing and supporting almost any NFT token minted in this blockchain. Be aware most of the focus is on PFP and collectibles. @mallow__art offers 0% fees. This marketplace doesn’t charge anything for selling or collecting NFTs. I wonder how will they make $? @tensor_hq is another marketplace that offers advanced trading views and looks similar to @blur_io Honorable mentions: @SolanartNFT, @formfunction 🖼 Solana’s Art and Artists Profile pics and collectibles drive most of the volume, with a few exceptions. I was pretty surprised to see how many artists are getting into minting on Solana. And it's not just a recent trend – some have been at it for two+ years, so it's not just about jumping on the bandwagon. Towards the end of 2023, Solana has been in the spotlight, and the value of different assets has been trending up aggressively. An easy way to measure popularity is by looking at Google Trends.
