I think I found my new favourite Minecraft Mod: "Cinematic Interactions". It allows you to directly interact with the crafting interfaces of most functional blocks.
It also lets you interact in entirely new ways, like sitting at a campfire to cook your food! IT'S SO COOL!!!!
