Will the international community of psychologists call out Israel for the genocide in Gaza? Russia's invasion of Ukraine led to boycott and expulsion, and clear positioning against Russia. What is psychology if a genocide occurs while we are silent?
Good mental health and wellbeing is a human right. When mental health is compromised it is unhelpful to healing to criticise and condemn. The 'higher standard' test applies to everyone. Compassion and support is needed not a pile on.
