i reverse engineered @OpenAI's Codex Computer Use and built pi-computer-use: a model agnostic computer use tool for my fellow pi enjoyers on MacOS. comes with ax-first navigation & a vision fallback for supported models! source code in comments; would love to get some feedback.

We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026. That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community. Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward. We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how: · Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly. · Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact. · Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security. · The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional. Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

have a mac mini but want to have some ephemeral linux boxes? cua spaces lets you have both for free (did i mention open source? it's open source)
1/ Introducing Cua Spaces on Hetzner and AWS (early access). Bring your own cloud, or self-host on your own Macs and Linux boxes, and run the same E2B and Daytona code. We priced 256 RL sandboxes, 8 h a day, for a month: $10.2k on E2B, $700 on Cua Spaces.

> Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco this but unironically??
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10. Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years. Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

growing up, sf to me was always a place where brilliant minds learn to build more efficiently, without having to spend more time at work in contrast, singapore (and china to a more extreme degree) was always about working harder, 996 and overtime to maximise your possible productivity imagine my surprise when i see sf, the city that’s meant to bring the future, start to embrace antiquated ideas that asia is working so hard to move past why did this culture shift happen?

singapore could never create something like Andreessen Horowitz. we'd just end up with Tan Tan venture capitalists

the personal assistants as coworkers - @Muse: that coworker you have nothing in common with. you have no opinion of them - dots: that colleague who is always on top of things, but sometimes... slow - @bot: you will never see them outside work hours, but damn they are efficient

1/ Hermes can now launch Cua Spaces. When a task needs a computer, Hermes creates a Space on your Mac, Windows PC or Linux box, does the work there, and deletes it when it's done. You and your team can jump into the same Space while it works.

between me and you, let me tell you a secret: i love nonsense benchmarks. please send me more showing how @trycua does (or doesn't) work for you i don't care if its biased to a specific task or OS, a documented comparison is enough for me to improve our evals

i'm personally a big fan of pi, and i built a little plugin that lets your pi connect to your spaces across macOS, Windows and Linux. check it out! github.com/injaneity/pi-cua

4/ Bring any agent. Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Goose, OpenCode, Hermes or your own. They all use the same Space and the same tools.

don't worry dots users, i didn't forget about you: use the same prompt as below, and if you happen to use both dots and bots, congrats! you now have two free linux VMs that you can control
for grok bot users, you can set this up within 3 minutes! just tell your most trusted @bot this: set up cua spaces on your computer as a controllable linux vm (not a container), giving yourself kvm access if needed. once you've set it up, walk me through what cua spaces can do, and how to make the most of it.

cua spaces is special to me because its built around the idea of being self-sufficient: use compute you have lying around, use whichever model you like, without having to feel limited by your subscriptions when you switch between dots and grokbot, these are completely separate computers. but what if they didn't have to be? why not unify, instead of fragmenting your options?
1/ Introducing the Cua Spaces SDK. Every big lab now ships a bot with its own computer: Grok Bot, Muse, dots. None let you bring your own. With Cua Spaces, now you can. Put Claude Code, Codex or any agent on compute you choose, and run jobs across all your computers at once.
