Drug testing too. I would be happy for a sliding scale salary, based on means testing. More than half of the members of congress are millionaires compared with only 8% of the general population. Why do we need to give a six figure salary to a millionaire?

What if Congress could get a pay raise only when the minimum wage went up?—> Since 1988 Congress has raised its salary 15 times, “to reflect rising costs”, but raised the minimum wage only 3 times in that same period. Poor people aren’t affected by rising costs, apparently!🤯
