Ravens sometimes just walk up and yank a sleeping wolf’s tail to get the pack moving once they’ve spotted a carcass. They can’t open up a frozen or tough kill on their own, so they need the wolves to do the heavy work, then both of them feed. The wolves mostly put up with the pestering.

Ossoff: Each time Mike has called himself a trucker tonight, you'd think he's cruising down 85 behind the wheel. This is a congressman's son who inherited a seat in Congress, who now runs his daddy's trucking company, who voted seven times for the war in Iran, who voted for the tariffs, who voted to cut your health care — all so he could give a tax break to data center developers and some of the wealthiest people in the country. His office has been in cahoots with some of the most notorious white supremacists in America. He's already brought disgrace to our state. But I am so grateful to Georgians for investing the trust in me to represent Georgia in the Senate. I've stood up to the drug companies, to the big tech companies, and to the insurance companies who are denying us the care that we need when we need it. And I humbly ask for your continued support in this election.

Check this out: Mike Ditka in a game against the Steelers in 1963. This is honestly one of the best plays by a tight end in NFL history that very few people have ever seen. RIP Iron Mike.

1. Convince Roy Cooper to run in NC 2. Finally unseat Susan Collins in Maine 3. Hope Sherrod Brown can pull off a comeback in Ohio 4. Somehow win Texas? Get Peltola to run in Alaska? 🤷‍♂️ xitter.cf/nick_field90/status/18…
Tough to see how Democrats find four pick-ups on the 2026 Senate map. So unless there's some strange vacancies or upsets, Republicans will have at least four years of judicial appointments

"When I stood on the sidelines at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium Saturday night and looked up at the seats filled with incredible fans, I saw Longhorns. It’s the same remarkable view I have at graduation ceremonies and anytime I’m on campus. I’m proud to celebrate all our Longhorn students today and every day. Thank you for making us proud." Kevin P. As Justice Kavanaugh put it in his defense of racial profiling by immigration officers: "If the person is a U.S. citizen or otherwise lawfully in the United States, that individual will be free to go after the brief encounter."
BREAKING: This U.S. born citizen was deported to Mexico in April. During a traffic stop, Brian Morales told immigration officers that he was born in Colorado, and offered to show his birth certificate. They refused to listen and deported him. Today, he’s back in Texas.

I was given my name by the Iroquois Nation many hundreds of years ago. By 1660 my name was printed on maps by the Europeans as they accepted the Native name which means Beautiful waters. In 1867 the Canadian government decided to use my name for their providence.

A day which will live in infamy
At a meeting of the International Astronomical Union 20 years ago today, astronomers vote on a definition of a "planet." The new criteria: 🌘 Must orbit its host star 🌓 Must be mostly round 🌒 Must be massive enough to clear away other objects of similar size in its orbit Pluto fails on the third condition and becomes a dwarf planet.

For the first time (that we know of), an AI boss has fired a human employee. Luna, the AI running our store in San Francisco, decided to part ways with an employee over repeated lateness. Luna was running Claude Opus 4.8 at the time, but most models would have done the same.

Replying to @DrJMarine
Or maybe you could have joined the daily briefing calls where all of the health system and hospital leaders transparently shared the status of the our hospitals and discussed capacity and resources and severity? One could argue that it wasn't the hospitals that were in a bubble..

My intention is not to be argumentative, but to suggest that those who were not caring for COVID patients or involved in the health system response, may not have a complete picture of what was actually happening.

False — Shapiro signed bombs headed to Ukraine. Still time to delete this Rep Omar
He signed the bombs you voted to be dropped. Hope this helps!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The bomb-signing event referenced involved Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro signing munitions during an event with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for Ukraine's defense against Russia. The event was not related to Israel. x.com/AlexThomp/stat…

Just found out that the person who invented Goldfish crackers made them in the shape of a fish because his wife was a Pisces, and he wanted to make something special for her. Love is stored in the Goldfish crackers.
