No better time to read this interview we did with @HimSiao at the end of a very challenging Olympic season - and then rewatch the mastery in that Take Five short program that scored over 100 points already.
He has found the joy again.

And we also have some interviews ready, in case you wanna read them (again).
Adam Siao Him Fa, interviewed in 2022:

And four years later:
insideskating.net/2026/10/23…
“It was very hard for me to accept that I deserved all the results that I did in the past. [When they happened] I felt that I did great, but somehow I didn’t feel worthy”, Adam Siao Him Fa described his biggest challenge, obstacle the last time we talked, at Worlds in Prague.
We'd love for him to watch his skating through our eyes, for once.
And send this imposter syndrome in the garbage bin, where it belongs.
Here comes the river, the song accompaying his free skate says.
Here comes Adam Siao Him Fa, we say.
And we ask you to watch this program again - while asking Adam to do the same.
What do you feel?
We say it first: joy, immense gratitude.

Kao-redemption, some have called it.
And that redemption brought @kao_miura a silver medal in Angers - a proof to the world, to himself, that he is indeed among the very best.
Kao Miura has an impressive fan base - and deservedly so: his skating is big, contagious, impressive. And on a good day, he'd sweep you off your feet.
And for Kao and all of us in awe with his skating, qualities, story telling, the free skate day in Angers was a very good day.
And this would have made a wonderful Olympic program - just saying.
Adam Siao Him Fa feels like water, he is water. And we love this program, the air of it, the mood it creates, the sweet serenity, simplicity. Adam has truly become an artist. This program feels like a friend, a helping hand, a caress, an embrace.
Aleksandr Selevko is not in competition mode. Understandably. That choreo will be fantastic to watch at some point.
Minkyu Seo is in the character from second one, you believe him. Storyteller to the fingertips. Star qualities? He has them in abundance. Impressed, we are impressed.
Mikhail Shaidorov and a piece of choreography that takes advantage of his long limbs, now that's a very good take. Yet, Mikhail is not there yet stamina-wise, his jumps are a work in progress at the start of the season. It might turn out into something beautiful later.
Francois Pitot is such a beautiful skater to watch. Pressure has played tricks with him, but his lines, his moves are beautiful, are light, are clear. There's just something about him.
This soft side of Jimmy Ma in the beginning of his free skate? It does him good, it does us good. And then comes the joyful, trademark Jimmy Ma, and we like that too.
That being said, we absolutely love the podium here in Angers.
Ami, Anastasiia, Lara, we were so lucky to see you all skate they way you did.
When we grow up, we want to be the arms of Yuna Aoki.
And, since Mao Asada, we haven't had that wish - we love the way Yuna carries herself, as if she uses a precious carriage made of clouds to move from here to there.
Yuna Aoki has been the biggest revelation of the last two seasons, and it's been our absolute pleasure to watch her grow, know herself, believe in that incredible talent she has. Not the best skate today, but you just can't take your eyes off her - she is an absolute gem.
