Squaring the whole equation turns each length into an area; the identity becomes a dissection of one big square of side 137.03599.

So an unlocked RTX 3090 is reaching RTX 4080 territory in FP16 Tensor throughput with FP32 accumulation !
That's a generational upgrade in this specific workload, Ampere performing around Ada 4080 level.
My 3090 went from 67.6 to 101.8 TFLOPS, a 50.6% improvement with the same 350W power limit.
For reference, the 4080's published theoretical peak is 97.5 TFLOPS.
This means faster LLM prompt processing, diffusion and FlashAttention. In my testing i saw upto 7% faster prefill when running Qwen3.8-27B.
Since a lot of us cannot afford a new GPU, getting more out of what we already have means a lot.

Since July, I've been working on a set of fundamental CS questions rooted in combinator calculi. I've built out the SKIverse, a set of tools for computing on the SKI combinators, writing them using high-level languages, and ultimately zero-knowledge-proving with them.

i own a relatively new (2025) samsung tv.
