One thing i realised @ JMI is that without reservation these people cant get into a good college. Half of the people in masters/phd are graduates from same uni and they don’t even know basic communication. They have reservations for muslim sc/st/obc/women but not for dalits.

i mean jus simply ask somebody or tell somebody that you are in pain if they are willing to give up on their seat. The fact uncle was right?? you are neither old nor physically challenged.
I see a lot of guys sitting on floor too when they are tired, do you ever offer your seat?
I was travelling on the Delhi Metro today on my way to the office.
Since I was on my period and suffering from cramps, I sat on this reserved seat.
A 60+ uncle started yelling at me, saying it is “their seat.” I stood my ground and told him that I had paid for my journey too, but he continued shouting that youngsters shouldn’t sit there.
I was already in pain, yet he made me feel guilty for simply sitting down.
Where is the basic humanity and empathy? Every man should offer his seat to a woman if she's standing. You never know what a woman might be going through. It reflects your upbringing and values.
