Massive cyberattack on Danfoss industrial refrigeration systems in major supermarkets and food stores in France.🚨♨️ Here is what i know: The attack started around 23:00 on October 11, 2026 (local French time), according to one affected supermarket operator, and targeted Danfoss refrigeration management and control systems - huge fridges where supermarkets and stores keep food. Attackers were able to remotely modify the configuration and start the defrost operation, raising the temperature to 50°C. Danfoss response, according to Reuters, was that "the affected units were running outdated firmware." Stay tuned.
