Hi @FactswithDinesh.. Hope you are doing well buddy. I appreciate your commitment to your cause, but I feel it's important that we look at this Objectively rather than emotionally, so it's a long post that I urge you to go through in detail. This is what happens when you have no clue about the ground reality in Delhi yet want to merely vent your frustration, often as "Naraz Phoopha" .. In this case, let me break my initial argument in 2 Parts: 1. How long does it take to travel from Gurugram to central Ghaziabad by Delhi Metro? Afterall when you question the state of NCRs Infrastructure, you have to consider the cheapest, modern and fastest available option, that Mr Friend of yours Chose NOT to opt for, despite Delhi having one of the world's most extensive and modern Public Transport. I did a quick Google check (screenshot - 1). The Answer - Between 1hr-15 mins (using newly built RRTS) to 1 hour 50 Mins (yellow line+ Blue/Magenta lines) . 2. Now let's come to the Highway Infrastructure. I have grown up and spent whole my life (45 yrs) in Delhi. If you have any clue about traffic patterns in NCR, you would know that the Weekend preceeding Deepawali (which is Current Weekend) is actually the time when traffic is usually at its worse in the whole year. Then you have to Also consider that it's been raining Cats and Dogs since last 2 days. So how does it compare with other Developed Global cities across the world with comparable population? Well for that I quickly asked Google AI search to tell me: "How long does it take to cover 50 Kms by road in Tokyo, New York and Beijing Respectively, at worst traffic period when it's been raining non stop for 2 days" See for yourself the result in Screenshot 2,3,4.. All of them says between 3-5 hours.. Forget that, let me tell you my personal experience travelling approx 60 Kms by road in Beijing (in 2014) on 1st May, which is considered as one of the heaviest traffic day being Labour Day. It took me over 7 hours to cover it one way between city center and Great Wall, and this was after Beijing Olympics when phenomenal roads and expressways were all newly built there. This literally tells you that No large urban road infrastructure is built to handle exceptional circumstances of peak traffic in Global megacities with high population density Finally let me also tell you how your favorite punching bag @nitin_gadkari ji has actually solved the nightmare that NCR traffic used to be. Akshardham to Meerut used to take upto 4-5 hrs during festival weekends, and those who have traveled through it those days, will have no hesitation calling it one of the worst ever highway in the world. He fastracked the Meerut Expressway and today it takes at the most an hour. Ever since 80's-90's we have grown up with claims that Govt is planning a peripheral expressway to divert bypassing traffic, specially trucks, to ease Delhi traffic.. Yet it was all a pipedream under Congressi governments.. Again it took Gadkari ji to fastrack, cleared land acquisition obstacles and delivered Eastern and Western Peripheral Expressways in 2018.. Similar is the story of Dwarka Expressway which has substantially eased my drive to south Gurgaon, where my parents live, from Greater Noida West where I live. Approximately 75 Kms distance which now takes around 2 hours on a normal afternoon. Ask residents of Faridabad and Ballabhgarh how they are benefiting from newly opened DND-KMP expressway. It may not fit your political agenda and you may call me names like Andhbhakt but honestly the way Nitin Gadkari has eased NCRs traffic problem within last 10 years under leadership of PM @narendramodi..
