Sergey Nazarov reveals @chainlink is building a product that lets AI agents use DeFi, securities lending, and real-world assets.
He hadn’t mentioned it publicly before this interview.
“We’re actually gonna have something coming up.”
“One of those focus solutions specifically for agents to efficiently use DeFi.”
“And to efficiently use things like securities lending and gain access to real-world assets.”
“It’s not something we’ve announced yet. I’m actually just talking about it here for the first time.”

Zach Rynes says Chainlink will eventually work like a seal of approval.
Users won’t need to know how it works under the hood. They’ll only need to see that a product uses it.
When they see “it uses Chainlink,” Zach says, the reaction is simple.
“Okay, it’s secure.”
“I know it’s been validated. I know it’s been approved by all the parties because they all trust Chainlink infrastructure.”
Trading, betting and lending all rely on the same reliable connectivity.
That trust took years to build.

SERGEY NAZAROV LINK:NYC KEYNOTE
The new global financial system is taking shape, powered by Chainlink.
Today, @SergeyNazarov showed how Chainlink is enabling the next era of global finance, where traditional finance and DeFi converge into a unified onchain financial system.
By connecting tokenized assets, financial institutions, and liquidity across blockchains and existing financial systems, Chainlink unlocks an entirely new era of global markets, lending, and credit.
The future of finance is onchain, and it starts with Chainlink.

No one in the industry can match Chainlink Labs’ level of completeness as a company.
Pure class.
Top notch everything.

Replying to @BloombergTV
First off, imagine being delusional enough to sell the idea that a synthetic asset, whose entire supply originated with the founders a private American company, would ever become a "bridge currency" in global FX markets for people "avoiding the US dollar." Imagine thinking that global institutions are going to carry XRP on their balance sheets for this. (See image from Swift CIO)
Secondly, being used as "bridge currency" does not increase the price of XRP.
You have an initial supply provided by some initial party providing that liquidity, and then that same supply recycles over and over again for an infinite amount of volume.
Every subsequent transaction, once the liquidity is provided, has an equal sized sale after every single buy that happens moments later. The transactions are demand-neutral.
To increase the price of an asset, you need more buyers than sellers. Being a "bridge currency" does not create more buyers than sellers.

Tomorrow, Link:NYC will be live on X, YouTube, & chain.link.
Hear from leaders at DTCC, Swift, Fidelity, ICE, Chainlink, & many more on how global finance is moving onchain.
Follow @chainlink and watch the livestream on YouTube: youtube.com/live/5WLMVKkv2Ss…
We are reaching critical mass. Chainlink is a household name in DeFi and digital asset focused TradFi, but soon it will be just as common to hear about $LINK as it is to hear about $BTC & $ETH.
Some interesting things are starting to line up for Chainlink leading up to some big events.
NYC event this week (something new will be announced), then DTCC App Chain launch Q1.
If this really is the beginning of agentic trading between Tradfi/Defi/AllFi, they will all need to be connected across their chains (JPM Chain etc). $LINK will be necessary. You’re about to see a lot of people talking about Chainlink.

Congratulations to @The_DTCC on the launch of the DTCC Tokenization Service, a significant milestone in the modernization of global financial market infrastructure.
The launch follows DTCC’s first-ever production trades of tokenized U.S. securities in July 2026, powered by Chainlink alongside more than 30 major institutions:
• BlackRock
• J.P. Morgan
• Goldman Sachs
• Vanguard
• NYSE
• Nasdaq
• CME Group
• Microsoft
• State Street Investment Management
• BNP Paribas Securities Corporation
• Societe Generale
• S&P Dow Jones Indices
• Citadel Securities
• FTSE Russell
• Invesco
• Broadridge
• Tradeweb
• + many more
With quadrillions processed annually as critical infrastructure underpinning U.S. securities markets, DTCC is bringing tokenization to the American financial system.
We look forward to continuing our work together in advancing 24/7 collateral workflows through the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) & data standard, accelerating institutional adoption of tokenized assets.
The DTCC Tokenization Service is now live, and this is only the beginning.

ROAD TO Link:NYC 🗽
NEW: Chainlink brings Vault Risk Assessments onchain with @SPGlobalRatings, the global credit rating agency.
Now live on @base, the integration brings independent vault risk analysis to the $10B lending vault market, deploying them according to defined strategies, working much like managed fixed income funds.
This integration of DataLink and CRE expands Chainlink’s existing collaboration with S&P Global Ratings, which previously brought its Stablecoin Stability Assessments onchain.

This is just foreshadowing the future top-3 marketcap order.
For the second week in a row, LINK has been the most traded asset on Coinbase for Agents.
The top 3 assets by notional trading volume from 10/19 to 10/25:
🥇 $LINK
🥈 $BTC
🥉 $ETH
Coinbase for Agents is now natively available on Grok, Grok Bot, Perplexity Computer, Composio, and via MCP on other AI platforms.
Just another example of a solution that will fly under the radar for most normies because they have no real understanding of what our industry must provid major financial institutions for them to move onchain.
Chainlink has been working with them for years, and the end to end solutions built with all the components of the Chainlink platform will continue to roll out.
Introducing Chainlink CustodySync, a new solution that lets qualified custodians give their institutional clients access to DeFi lending markets, all while assets remain securely in custody.
With @Anchorage as the official launch partner, together we’re establishing a new standard for institutional DeFi.
CustodySync keeps custody and lending systems in sync across the full lifecycle of a loan:
→ For custodians: faster time to market and lower operational overhead, with custodian-managed controls
→ For lending markets: independent, verifiable data and a consistent risk framework
→ For institutions: passive capital becomes productive capital
More than $80 billion sits in DeFi lending markets. Meanwhile, the roughly $700 billion in digital assets under custody is less than 0.5% of all $250 trillion in traditional assets under custody. The opportunity to connect traditional institutional capital to onchain finance remains vast.
Large institutions have lacked a secure way of accessing these markets. Regulations require many of them to keep their digital assets with a qualified custodian, a firm that meets specific requirements for holding assets on behalf of clients, and custody systems were never built for DeFi. Even when custody and lending systems are connected, inconsistent loan valuations can trigger premature liquidation or delayed liquidations, exposing borrowers and lenders to significant financial risk.
@Anchorage, home to the first federally chartered digital asset bank in the U.S., is the first qualified custodian to adopt CustodySync, connecting its institutional clients to DeFi lending markets while their assets remain in regulated custody.
Institutional capital no longer has to choose between the security of custody and the liquidity of DeFi.
With Chainlink, it gets both.
