If you thought the amount of iOS apps adapted for the Duo was bad Imagine all the macOS apps that will never be adapted for touch It's just going to be the Touch Bar all over again. Zero use case, zero adoption, dead weight (& cost), then bravely dropped 5yrs from now

Push is my favourite instrument since 2016. I love building things I haven’t seen anyone else do with it. This DJ app came up when I was invited to DJ by friends here in London - I’m not even a dj… but I didn’t want to go buy a whole new setup. So I built “this”. Also works with Move by the way.

Apologies to everyone who showed interest on PushPlay. Summer happened, moved home, visited long time friends and paid some "debts", worked a lot as usual, life happened simply put. I am working today on preparing a beta release and I will share a link as soon as I can! Ask any questions or DM in the meantime 🙏

iPod 25th anniversary celebration day! This product (along with the iMac) pretty much saved Apple from bankruptcy back in the day and paved way for the iPhone.

My hot take is that since Apple moved to SwiftUI it has been running a world scale beta program: - SwiftUI led to building apps across platforms. I think SwiftUI will improve over time… iPhone apps now work on macOS - iPhone Air led to Duo - Duo introduces many breakpoints that will naturally adapt on the upcoming touch MacBook devices enriching the macOS AppStore - Live activities, widgets, and all apps will also power VisionOS or a future glass device - app intents will enable AI and screen-less interactions, when a bit of context is needed live activities and widgets will do It’s a long game but right now Apple is strengthening their coverage across all consumer multi-media device categories.

Last night I found myself “accidentally”at a poetry reading event at Cafe OTO. I was hoping to find a music gig but instead found poetry. Poetry about life, about migration, about war, about family, about religion and more. I love these serendipitous moments of life. Finding what I needed but I wasn’t looking for.
