LEGEND
In the first half of tonight’s match, @CharlotteFC's Kristijan Kahlina became the first goalkeeper in more than two decades to record at least 150 saves in a single @MLS regular season, marking just the seventh such season in league history and the first since Joe Cannon in 2004.
Madness 🤯

Development in a league like MLS is all about creating a strong foundation to build off.
A sound physical, technical, and mental base that will allow a player to swim rather than sink when thrown in the deep end.
MLS has done a better job of equipping young players for the next level with every new generation.
If you look at academy results between MLS clubs and even major EU academies, MLS is incredibly competitive.
The separation happens at the next phase of development around ages 18-22.
That’s around the time young MLS players should look to make that move abroad to avoid stagnation.
Up until that point MLS does a really good job.
Concerned that Charlotte FC may have peaked too early.
Last few weeks have looked like a regression to the pre-World Cup version of Charlotte.
It’s likely we won’t have the home field advantage in playoffs, and defensively we’ve been a mess on the road.
Need to finish strong.
Caleb Adams retweeted
Charlotte FC's three-game road trip:
8 - Goals Against
80 - Total shots conceded
31 - SoT allowed
53 - Shots allowed from inside the box
14 - Big chances conceded
9.21 - xGA
Tough stretch for the Crown's team defending.
Unacceptable that on both of Lassiter’s goals he was surrounded by blue shirts and managed to score far too easily.
Oh snap!
Abdoulaye Doucouré has made it back with his visa, is available for selection for @CharlotteFC this weekend.
Dean Smith said Thursday they will make a determination after Friday training whether they want to travel the 33-year old affectionately known as “Dukes”.
So how do these referees get punished for getting potentially season altering decisions wrong?
Players and coaches get fined for just speaking ill of referees!
Do referees have to pay a fine? Do they get sidelined for a few games without pay? Just an apology doesn't cut it.
Generational in the context of a nation’s talent pool exists.
The Cavan Sullivan hype is getting ridiculous.
His production, at 17 is impressive. Nobody is denying the kid has talent. But since when did being a promising teenager automatically make you a generational superstar?
He’s still developing technically, physically and tactically, yet American soccer media and fans talk about him like he’s already proven himself at the highest level.
We’ve seen this movie before with plenty of young American talents. Stop confusing potential with accomplishment. Being exceptional for your age and being exceptional at world football are two VERY different things.
Let the kid actually prove himself before crowning him the next big thing.
One of those foreign talents is Charlotte FC's Rodolfo Aloko who 1,000% deserves to be on this list.
There are few U-22 attackers in MLS that have the imposing athleticism, raw ability, and impact that Aloko possesses.
