Leaker Kepler has confirmed that the PS6 chip has been taped out which looks to mean the console is scheduled still for late 27
The PS6 according to him will be 40TF but really that number doesn’t showcase real world performance
Reports also mention it’ll have 2-3x raster capability and 6-12x raytracing capability
AI will play a big role alongside Raytracing / Pathtracing to give us that next jump
Kepler didn’t mention Dual Issue for PS6 which is making the rounds or the AI multiplier
PS6 will be able to also play your PS5 and PS4 library of games
