Emoji paragraph for the home learning win here in Tasmania. Thank you @tonyvincent and @jcorippo for the inspiration. This creative 7yo wants to start her day this way :-)

Another fabulous class from @tonyvincent. Today, a very busy ASB advisor requested help to set up online voting for a new fight song. Thanks to many tips I’ve learned from Tony over the years, we had a voting site ready in 20 minutes. #ClassySites #wortheverypenny

Yes, one of the most profound, timely and challenging conversations I’ve witnessed lately. I suggested it become required listening for all district staff members. Thank you @k_shelton and @wakelet
👏 I spent the last hour listening to @k_shelton. He is so good at explaining things. If you're looking for a conference or workshop speaker, I recommend @k_shelton. His message is one everyone should hear. (And, he's got the best Zoom backdrop.)

Looking forward to learning from @k_shelton tomorrow morning. Join us as we think about equity in education.
I wouldn't want to be any other place than at the center of our meaningful conversations, tangible actions, and support for each other. Looking forward to this conversation/town hall tomorrow!!
Great learning opportunity for all educators!

Her description about instantly being a first-year online teacher and a first year homeschooler was so profound. Having this mindset will be really important as we move forward.
"You are literally a first-year teacher again" @MrsChavez_11 discusses the shift teachers have had to endure given the current pandemic. Watch our virtual #SpringCUE featured speaker LIVE right now ->facebook.com/cueinc/<- #WeAreCUE #selfcare #remoteteaching #TeacherLoveTribe

After a very busy week of online meetings and professional development sessions with teachers, I have a new motto, based on my mother’s life mindset: #zoomwhereyouareplanted Thank you @zoom_us for supporting educators. We are ready for the challenge! @annhayesbell @PaulWitzel

This morning was amazing. Celebrating my 50th birthday with virtual signs & a group serenade from teachers was unforgettable. Several teachers said connecting in this way life-giving. Here’s to virtual relationships while socially distancing ourselves. Thanks @annhayesbell

Do consultants inspire changes in practice? Yep! A day with @Catlin_Tucker last week & today we’re observing station rotation with online & offline collaborative stations, #teacherstation, #walkingtheroom @annhayesbell
How often do you get to sit 1:1 with an expert to get feedback on your lesson plans? This is the power of blended learning & station rotation! Thanks @Catlin_Tucker for walking your talk and inspiring our teachers.

Several of our Shoreline teachers rate a field trip to @LivingComputers as one of the best they’ve ever done. Thanks @NinaArens for your passion & leadership!

Unsolicited praise continues to come in after a day of learning with @cogswell_ben. “He masterfully demonstrated great teaching strategies, shared how to support language development, management strategies, assessment tools and connected his ideas to standards.” @annhayesbell
I love my job! Last year we developed whole class Ozobot lessons and this year we’re moving to self-paced modules with a learning passport. I used Google Draw to make the stickers. #ozobots

From Lego algorithms to Jack-o-lantern algorithms - practicing computational thinking skills with 4th graders. It's been fun to add CS skills to this engaging project from @ericcurts. I used a table format to build the foundation for the x-y axis work we'll do later in Scratch.
