She’s not daft. She’s a woman with experience on Pregnancy.
I respect him as a gynecologist, but he still has limit…& that’s the sincere truth.
He can educate on what best practices on the issue is, but he can’t tell her about the experience.
That’s why we as physicians are trained to listen to our patients.
If his Patient tells him, “Pregnancy is a death statement”. His response should be, “Tell me More…”. Not “Pregnancy is not a death statement.”
Also, because medicine is not a finite knowledge, we medical practitioners keep learning and updating research and knowledge by listening to people experiencing it, not arguing semantics or teaching them English.
All women knows that pregnancy is not a death sentence
Just as women have always done, they are trying to play the “victim” card and “I am giving you more” card
They want men to believe that giving you sex and getting pregnant for you is more value than anything you give them in this life
So they can become jobless, lazy and ask you to do anything they wish because she is giving birth to your child
The claim is you working and providing and protecting them, none is death sentence but giving you children is death sentence hence I am giving more and gaining nothing
Providing for me is bare minimum
When you understand these things, you begin to understand why they make certain statements
It is all about conditioning you

Nobody is saying there are no risks, but making pregnancy sound like a guaranteed death sentence is just ridiculous.
