If Cannavaro can win a Ballon d'Or for winning a World Cup but not Lamine then Lamine is officially has the highest standards football has ever seen

Oh and by the way, we're taking Ankara Messi off the throne this season too. Just thought I might add that
Not really.
Messi FC just got to finally feel some relief after Lamine was pressing on their idols neck for the past 12 games straight.
Such back handed compliments. You can all kiss Lamine's ass fr 😭
As a staunch Lionel Messi fan, I absolutely hate what many Messi fans are doing to Lamine Yamal.
There is no reason to be insecure about Lionel Messi. Lamine Yamal has a 0.0000000000000001% chance of matching him. No reason to always want to prove Messi was better.
Messi as a teenager did not have the burden of being a star and team leader like Lamine Yamal. So it’s nonsense comparing the impact of both.
Lionel Messi, even during some of his primes, faced the exact same criticism like Yamal is facing now. I remember when he played 5 consecutive Liga Clásicos and didn’t get a single G/A. Barça lost 4 of the 5, and only one a game 1-0. The one Clasico Messi was out injured Barcelona won 5-1. The whole narrative was that Messi was a Clasico ghost. Messi never scored a goal against Real Madrid in his Copa Del Rey career. Played about 7 games in total, zero goals, two of them were finals, lost both. I remember the 2014 final where Bale scored that goal, Messi was slandered for not putting effort, I read newspapers then where they said Pinto, our goalie, ran more than him. Messi has 0 G/A against Real Madrid in his last 9 games, he had so many bad games against Real Madrid too. And he was heavily slandered and criticized.
I’m not trying to slander Messi, I’m just letting people know that even the greatests have rough days. Especially against good teams that set up to stifle them. Lamine Yamal is 19 and is already seen as best in the world by many, one of the captains, expected to carry a club as huge as Barcelona at such a young age. Yes he had a bad game against Real Madrid, but it happens, and we need to cut him some slack.
Messi's path is different from lamine.
Messi is most stats, titles, awards over a 20 seasons
Lamine debuted at 15 and won a euro, world cup, ballon dor top 10 and a Barcelona captain as a teenager
The only real valid question is "whose path of harder to achieve"
Top 2 imo
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA
Do you people not know it's 2026??? 😭
Lamine Yamal has COMPLETELY shattered everyone's brain man. We're truly witnessing history
Replying to @Bonmatimessi
I’m pretty sure he had 0 g/a this game. But this is how you play with 0 g/a. Constant threat. Constantly going forward and creating chances.
He threatens Messi's legacy to uniformed Messi cultists who believe Messi's legacy is as fragile as CR7's
Why not pass to Cancelo so the ball can go out for a throw in? Yamal either shoots or passes here and Raph couldn't anticipate the pass because it seems essentially impossible to pull off. No one really at fault for anything serious here
Yes Yamal will never be Messi because when he doesn't play well and loses an El Classico match Barcelona are still top of La Liga?
Like what are y'all even trying to say at this point?
Every title is still in Barcelona's hands? Why is everyone so upset at Lamine Yamal?
Oh really? We didn't lose because Martin passed the ball across his net even though he's 23, and because Cubarsi got crossed up by Camavinga?
Because Raph scored. That's 1 point. How did Lamine contribute to barca losing?
When we criticize Lamine Yamal, it’s never out of hate. It’s because we want to see him make the right decisions and become the best player he can be. My criticism has always been about his mentality, not his talent.
Today, he was one of the main reasons behind our defeat. He played as if he had something to prove, more focused on dribbling past Cucurella and showing off than on making the right decisions for the team.
Cucurella is a quality defender, but Yamal seemed obsessed with beating him in every duel, almost as if he had something personal to prove. Instead of releasing the ball and keeping our attacks flowing, he kept trying to do everything himself.
You cannot afford to waste attacks like that against a team that thrives on counterattacks. Every lost ball can cost you dearly, and today, his decision making hurt the team.
