Agents will work side by side with humans to drive productivity and will further increase compute demand. Anthropic, $META, $GOOGL all driving significant agent adoption.

Not long ago, I wrote about how I see #smartglasses as the next big thing. Not everyone agreed with me then, yet while we're debating, the Chinese traffic police are already proving their effectiveness in action 😎

Another day, another lawsuit against @OpenAI... I'm sure we'll see many more stories like this in the future, but how valid are such claims? Is a drug manufacturer liable if a patient is poisoned by self-prescribed medications taken in the wrong dosage? cutt.ly/ftaQmvq7

Events like this tell me that the #AI hype will ultimately align with the concept of a vegetable market, that is, a division between cheap, mass products and expensive, but original, "GMO-free" content. At least, that's where things are heading now. cutt.ly/btryGGGj

Your idea is worthless until it's implemented. Harsh? Yes, but at least it's fair 🤷‍♂️ I don't know of a single example where blindly developing a vision solved real user problems. To understand your customers, you need to come out of the cave and just talk to them.

We’re going to enter a new phase of AI where the average consumer may not perceive a huge difference in any one model upgrade, but specific industries will feel significant improvements occur. The next phase of AI be about making models better and better for AI agents in real world knowledge work domains. We’re going to see new evals emerge that test for relevant tasks in these spaces, the generation of high quality data and environments that align to real work, training against specific tools and software in these spaces, and more. The test case of how to improve models on axis of real world capability has been proven out in coding, but now the same will start to happen across other high value fields like financial services, law, healthcare, life sciences and more. We’re only at the very beginning of this cycle.
BREAKING: OpenAI has quietly hired over 100 former Wall Street bankers, including alumni from Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Morgan Stanley, to help train its AI on building financial models Codenamed “Project Mercury,” the effort pays contractors $150 an hour to write prompts and create Excel-based models for IPOs, restructurings, and M&A deals

❌ Monitoring the development in real time does not make sense, because we work in sprints ❌ Why do you need access to the source code? ❌ We'll start testing with users when the app is completely ready If your #tech partner says any of these phrases, run and don't look back!

Do you know what distinguishes an experienced #entrepreneur from a beginner? The ability to differentiate must-have functions from nice-to-have ones. Your security question should be: Are we willing to spend 6 weeks developing a feature that is used by 0.1% of customers? 🤔

The trillion dollar opportunity in enterprise software is AI Agents. The reason for this is AI Agents expand many software categories because most tools have been constrained by the number of users on the other end of the tool. Enterprise software traditionally enabled people to do their work. But now the software also comes with actual productive output as well. This then breaks the traditional limits that many software markets have had, because smaller customers can use these tools more, new departments and industries open up, and previously scarce areas of work can be scaled more. For instance, most estimates put the code IDE category at a few billion dollars just a few years ago. This has - amazingly - always been a very small category of software. Well, now with AI Agents, the IDE market and coding in general is one of the fastest categories of spend in tech. This is because it’s bringing automation to a high value activity and supplying the world with a traditionally very scarce and high cost resource, engineers. The same is going to be true for many other categories of work across legal, financial services, healthcare, and more. Amazingly, this now opens up many niche categories that just wouldn’t have been economically viable for a software company before. For instance, making a business out of selling software to life sciences regulatory compliance managers would have been sub-scale before, but in a world of AI Agents this all of a sudden becomes possible. We’re already seeing this in our initial Box AI Agent use cases. Many of the early Agents being created by customers are for automating or augmenting work in previously underserved areas. This is letting customers automate a process they never would have gotten around to before, or dramatically expanding the output of work they were already doing. In all cases it’s more TAM that software wasn’t touching before. In all, it’s clear that AI Agents are going to grow many software categories. It’s an incredible time to be going after these spaces because even the small ones will now be massive, and the big ones will just get bigger. Tons of opportunity.

The software business model will be seats for the user and consumption for the agents. The big upside now is that there are many AI Agent opportunities where the TAM vastly exceeds the previous potential seat revenue. Because now you deliver work, not just enable it.

Finally, companies began to care not only about the sustainable development of digital education but also about strengthening cybersecurity measures. As Neil Armstrong would say: “That's one small step for a man, but a giant leap for the #EdTech field.” 🚀 cutt.ly/mrOl50Qf

❌ The latest model is not always the best. ❌ The most popular model is not always the best. ❌ The most expensive model is not always the best. ✅ The best #AI model is the one that helps you achieve your business goals and objectives.

Culture is more than just a concept. It's a behaviour that determines how teams align and implement strategy. If your partner lacks a strong internal #culture based on high standards, tech discipline, and continuous improvement, then what kind of growth can we even talk about?

What can we learn from the recent crop of #AI unicorns? This wave is not limited to a single archetype. Founders' experiences vary widely. And if you're building in the AI era, your path will be even less defined than before—which is both a challenge and an opportunity 🚀

The Guardian called @WebSummit “Glastonbury for geeks,” the Atlantic “where the future goes to be born,” and Inc. “the best technology conference on the planet.” For me, it was a global gathering of people who are genuinely passionate about what they do 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

#artificialintelligence can be not only a replacement for a person but also a catalyst for collective intelligence. It helps people think beyond their expertise and find non-obvious solutions. I believe the future lies in the “people + AI” formula, not “people against AI” 💡

No one talks about #LLM and #GenAI anymore—all the debates are about #agents. At least, that's the opinion I got after the @WorldSummitAI. I know many are tired of this topic since it's literally everywhere. Yet, you'll have to get used to it because it won't be any other way.

Many speakers at @eMergeAmericas highlighted the shift, which reflects what I keep seeing in business: we don't just need more #AI talent. What we really need is more adaptive professionals who can think strategically, creatively, and responsibly through artificial intelligence.
