This is a civilised country, people said, there will be no war. – at Crawley, South East
Vinnie is raising £2,000 to buy every child at Bevendean Primary School and Nursery a T-Shirt for PE, by running the Brighton Half Marathon in February 2024. If you can donate £6 (or more, of course) that would be brilliant. Here is the link: justgiving.com/crowdfunding/… #Brighton
Another great project and a wonderful presentation from @dwddao Was wondering how to use the same approach to protect trees in our urban spaces. – at Paris, France
Hi #ReFi #DeSci fam,
During the @xprize rainforest semifinal in Singapore, we (together with @ethbiodivx) pioneered a novel income source for local communities that rewards experts for their Indigenous knowledge: Biodiversity Insights Ecopayments 🌱
During our 48 hours data analysis phase, we rewarded more than 30 citizens in real-time transparently through web3.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of @filecoingreen our team @gainforestnow believes that this can be the bioeconomy job of the future! Join us in building an equitable future for nature and its champions 💚🌱
I loved the presentation from Malika yesterday at @FundingCommons Might start by trying this out in my garden. – at Paris, France

Hello, I am interested in talking to university researchers and librarians as part of user research. Is this you or do you know someone? Please get in touch and I can tell you more about it! The sessions will be qualitative interviews lasting no longer than one hour.
In other, unrelated news, I’d like to talk about my love of appropriate washing line husbandry.
Just me?

I came across this the other day and I think there is quite a lot in there to think about. Having data, preserving data, manipulating data, immutable data, the importance of data. This might not be new to you but have a look if you have a few minutes: youtube.com/watch?v=sX6F9_Jo…
