RIP Cursor 😔
Thank you for introducing the IDE to a generation of designers.

Here's my promised explainer. Doing my best to synthesize a lot of info here so check all my info; don't rely on it
So - the SpaceX IPO (SPCX:NASDAQ)

Cursor has continued to be my primary tool as a designer despite the notion that IDE’s are a relic. I still find a ton of value in the UI affordances.
Here’s what I’m doing about this question as an individual- Prepare financially as if @DarioAmodei is right. Prepare professionally as if @ylecun is right.
Dario is wrong.
He knows absolutely nothing about the effects of technological revolutions on the labor market.
Don't listen to him, Sam, Yoshua, Geoff, or me on this topic.
Listen to economists who have spent their career studying this, like @Ph_Aghion , @erikbryn , @DAcemogluMIT , @amcafee , @davidautor
I used NYC's open data to identify the top addresses with housing code violations. #1 is 765 Lincoln Avenue in Brooklyn with a whopping 2302 open violations, 415 of which are categorized immediately hazardous. Yikes.
Hey @cursor_ai @ryolu_- the sync layout across windows setting doesn't seem to work. Every time I open a new window, it opens the default view.
Indian government websites are notoriously bad. So I built Mor — a modern, accessible design system for India.

My home state of Virginia doesn't have a design system, so I built one. Introducing Dogwood- dogwood.studiopimmit.com
Do you have a design suggestion so obvious and valuable that you should be paid for it? I'll go first-
@OpenAI , no one in the history of copying from ChatGPT has ever wanted the top and bottom cruft that comes along with it. Ever.
Am I the only one who almost always uses @cursor_ai’s Auto model? Most other folks seem to have a specific model they like, but the Auto mode feels like the most effective for me (cost/ results wise).
“Why bother so much about obsolete data-processing machines when far superior models are already in existence? We are striving to engineer the Internet-of-All-Things in the hope that it will make us healthy, happy and powerful.”
“Initially Dataism will probably accelerate the humanist pursuit of health, happiness and power. Data is spreads itself by promising to fulfil these humanist aspirations.”
“In order to achieve immortality, bliss and divine powers of creation, we need to process immense amounts of data, far beyond the capacity of the human brain. So the algorithms will do it for us.”
We stayed in Jordaan and went to a local bike rental shop. We initially wanted to get a wagon in the front but they recommended getting one with a seat in the back.
