🧪 Lab Update
Hey everyone—I know excitement is building for launch, and trust me, I’m every bit as excited as you are.
Over the past three months, I’ve learned a tremendous amount about web development. Turning a working demo into a reliable production platform has brought its fair share of challenges.
Last week, I made the decision to change developers. The codebase had become bloated, and the data-ingestion process wasn’t built correctly. Building advanced features on a flawed codebase wasn't working.
Although the site worked, small failures could result in inaccurate data being shown—and for me, that’s unacceptable.
Since bringing in a new developer, the difference has been night and day. He has already rebuilt the site from the ground up in a test environment. It’s faster, more reliable, and several features originally planned for Phase 2 are already working with real data!
He’s a genuine whiz: a PhD in mathematics who has spent years building models for sportsbooks. The models are already sharper.
The official release date will be announced here first. We’re currently targeting mid-September, which lines up nicely with having some early match data to work with across the top European winter leagues.
