I did the homework a few years ago and settled on this Croma whitelabel. Used paint thinner to scrub their ugly logo off. It's worked well – it has airflow across the column, which I needed for under-table air circulation.
Today's WTF: none of my breadboards are actually 2.54mm pitch. Can't use them without deforming the pins on a Pico or ESP32 DevKit. The best I have is a pricier transparent breadboard and even that is only usable up to 4".

Found a twist. I can now message a business from WhatsApp Desktop but not WhatsApp Mobile. What a mess! @internetfreedom @kunalb11
It's not been half a day and the spam has started. I have never interacted with these businesses in any way whatsoever. Notice that large prompt in the middle of the screen? I haven't accepted the 2021 privacy policy update either. WhatsApp still works, so why accept?
So what username should I choose? How about the same juvenile handle I have here and in the Meta ecosystem? For consistency? The next screen gave me pause. Woah! Do I want this backdoor to add the current WhatsApp number to my Meta account? Will 2FA settings access be restored?
