Raphinha is still the exact same player he was in 2024/25. He didn't lose a single thing. The only real difference between his 24/25 and 25/26 seasons was injureis, and the stats prove it. In the 24/25 club season, he had 56 G/A in 4,661 minutes, averaging 1.08 G/A per 90. In the 25/26 club season, he had 28 G/A in 2,194 minutes, averaging 1.14 G/A per 90. I know some of you will say, "But in 24/25 he turned up in the big games, while in 25/26 he didn't." But he did turn up in the big games he was actually available for: Newcastle in the UCL knockouts, Atlético in La Liga, Real Madrid in the Super Cup. The problem was that he simply wasn't available for most big games, which brings us back to my original point: his only real problem was injuries. His level hasn't changed. I expect him to maintain that same G/A per 90 output, continue delivering in the biggest games, and If injuries leave him alone be ready for another 50–60+ G/A season.
