Everything feeling sluggish tonight.
Likely the result of finding the bag of Bass Pro Shops gummy worms in the cabinet while the girls were away.
Good news is those are gone now.
Also. Father-son weekend was rad, we had fun, while its a lot of responsibility I don't normally tackle alone, I'm always thankful for any extra time I can get being the one normally out of the house.
Also, found another spirit in the sky tonight, the stuff myths are born from right here! β at Discovery Bay, CA
If I had dumb money available to spend on art to put in a house thats big enough to have space for a piece like this.
Itd be mine already β at Discovery Bay, CA

Finished my first marathon! π
I have a lot of fond memories of Yokohama so this was a special one.
Conditions were extremely tough with the heat (26Β°C/79Β°F) and high humidity, followed by an intense downpour and strong winds.
I was struggling to keep my heart rate and body temperature down, so the rain actually helped (for a short while) before the sun came back out.
Had a pretty good race until 30km, but my legs gave out and from that point I was just focusing on finishing and avoiding heatstroke.
Positive takeaway is that I now know my leg endurance needs work beyond 30km, so that's something to focus on for next time.
Big thanks to everyone at @azukirunclub and co. for all the support. And special shoutout to @NFTea_Sammi for pushing me to run a marathon all year and encouraging me along the way, and @stray663 for gifting me a year of @runna to help with my training.
