This is my hometown. It’s a small town of less than a thousand people. And it’s right in the middle of the fight against unchecked data center development. Mayor Monroe is right. Local communities and their elected leaders have, and deserve, the final say when it comes to what is built in their backyards. While Congress refuses to take action, our administration here in Kentucky has laid out energy and environmental standards that must be met to protect Kentuckians. And we’ve been very clear that local communities get to make the final decision.
