The real shift under PM Modi isn’t just more roads. It’s the state building the industrial base itself: from Chip plants, Defence manufacturing, Private launch pads to Onshore capital rails. That scale is still under-appreciated. I write in @SwarajyaMag 👇

She theatrically waved her hands to deflect. Her colleagues conspired to shut India down... "BUT WHO CREATED THE PROBLEM?" With that one line opening NDA minister Piyush Goyal gives a master class to censorious, patronizing Europeans on climate double standards and their sneaky way of blaming "those developing countries" for the climate mess they themselves created. IT'S GREAT TO SEE INDIA IS NO JUST A PARTICIPANT AT THE GLOBAL HIGH TABLE BUT IS CONFIDENTLY HOLDING ITS OWN.

"India becomes partly colonized, it comes to believe superiority of europe and forgets all the extraordinary things it has given to the world" because that would mean crediting Hindu civilization, which indian elites and academia looks down upon. Indian education system and entire left ecosystem still runs on the idea of Macaulay in 2026.

On October 20, 2026, in Mumbai, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio proposed that Indian refiners—particularly Reliance Industries—process more Venezuelan crude and explore oil production there. India must examine the terms carefully. Buying crude, rebuilding Venezuela’s oil industry and reducing Russian supplies are three separate decisions, with very different costs and risks. Before committing, New Delhi needs answers to seven questions. 1️⃣ WHAT MORE DOES WASHINGTON WANT? India is already diversifying. • Venezuelan crude imports jumped from $255 million in FY2026 to nearly $3.6 billion in April–August 2026. • U.S. crude purchases rose from $405 million in July to $790 million in August. • Russian purchases fell about 25%, from $7.3 billion to $5.4 billion, reducing Russia’s share from 51% to 45%. With this shift already underway, what additional commitments does Washington seek—and what would India gain? 2️⃣ WHY THE FOCUS ON RELIANCE? Reliance accounted for 74.3% of India’s $3,585.6 million Venezuelan crude imports in April–August: • SEZ Jamnagar: $1,695.3 million—47.3%. • Sikka: $968.2 million—27%. The remainder came through Indian Oil’s Paradip facility, $421.3 million; Mundra storage terminals operated by HPCL and others, $405.8 million; and Nayara’s Vadinar facility, $95 million. Reliance is already the dominant buyer. Any further commitment must make commercial sense for the company. 3️⃣ DOES CHEAPER CRUDE MEAN CHEAPER FUEL? During April–August, India paid an average $612 per tonne for Venezuelan crude, compared with $821 for Saudi crude. But the discount is only the starting point. Venezuela’s mostly extra-heavy crude requires specialised diluents, upgrading and transport infrastructure. Lower yields and higher handling and refining costs can absorb part of the price advantage. India has the capability: Reliance’s Jamnagar complex, Nayara’s Vadinar refinery and suitable IOC and HPCL facilities can process heavy crude. The test is the final refining margin, supply reliability and delivered cost. 4️⃣ IS INDIA BEING ASKED TO BUY OIL—OR FINANCE RECONSTRUCTION? Venezuela produces roughly 1.1–1.2 million barrels a day and exports about 650,000–750,000 barrels. Restoring production above its historical peak of 3 million barrels a day could take 7–10 years and $75 billion to more than $100 billion. That means rebuilding upgraders, restoring power and repairing export facilities. India must establish whether Rubio’s proposal offers reliable crude supplies or seeks Indian capital to rehabilitate Venezuela’s damaged oil industry. The investment burden, ownership terms, payment security and expected returns must be explicit. 5️⃣ WHO BEARS THE COST IF U.S. POLICY REVERSES AGAIN? India has already experienced this risk. U.S. sanctions disrupted ONGC Videsh’s Venezuelan investments. Restrictions on Venezuelan state oil firm PDVSA, culminating in the 2019 oil embargo, also pushed Indian refiners to stop purchases. Hundreds of millions of dollars in Indian dividend earnings were stranded, production from equity investments was effectively frozen and expansion plans were abandoned. Washington once discouraged Venezuelan oil purchases. It now encourages them. What protects Indian investments if it changes direction again? 6️⃣ WHY MUST INDIA REDUCE RUSSIAN PURCHASES WHILE THE U.S. BUYS RUSSIAN DIESEL? On October 9, Washington agreed to buy Russian diesel to improve domestic availability. The arrangement provided sanctions relief until April 7, 2027, potentially generating dollar earnings for Russian producers, including Rosneft and Lukoil. Washington must explain why its energy needs justify Russian purchases while India faces pressure to reduce its own. India’s sourcing decisions must serve its energy security and commercial interests. 7️⃣ HOW MUCH MORE CAN RELIANCE COMMIT? On March 11, 2026, President Trump announced a $300 billion refinery project involving Reliance at Brownsville, Texas. Any request for Reliance to invest in Venezuelan oilfields must be assessed alongside its existing commitments, financing capacity and execution risks. India should seek clear terms on pricing, supply continuity, investment obligations, commercial returns, sanctions protection and how long Washington’s support will last. Buy Venezuelan crude where the economics work. Assess oilfield investment on its own merits. Decide Russian sourcing according to India’s needs. An American invitation is no guarantee that Indian capital—or India’s energy security—will be protected.

Good post by Ben. But here's the answer to his question: Why are Indians suddenly being hated so much? Answer: They have been specifically targeted to be hated in every country by a psyop mainly run by Pakistan, now joined by some other adversaries of India. This is easily understood when you realize that an anti-immigration racist should equally hate Mexicans, Chinese, Filipinos, and Vietnamese too. But he hates Indians specifically. Not even Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans, or Nepalis, whom he wouldn't be able to differentiate by any means. The keywords of "poop", "jeet", "pajeet", "sh1t", "sh1thole", "saar" etc., that even some native English-speaking racists are using now are vocabulary that was seeded by a massive Pakistani and Chinese bot operation over the last many years. This operation is being run around the world in many countries. The steps are as follows: > First seed the hate using fake accounts astroturfing as white American, Japanese, Chinese, Singaporean, etc. in respective countries > Make the racist discourse mainstream against Indians and India > Use highly derogatory and dehumanizing language and imagery to create disgust against Indians > Amplify any issue or crime from India or by Indians to build a narrative against Indians, even though such things happen all around the world > Spread hate among locals towards Indians and incite the local racists to start attacking Indians specifically > Make the racism organic and mainstream in society so that it attacks Indians, makes them lose jobs, hurts India's exports, inbound tourism, and many other things Unfortunately, the govt of India has been super apathetic to this real war against India and has failed to take any concrete steps or actions to address it. Small countries like Singapore immediately recognized it, acknowledged the foreign-seeded nature of it, and took some steps to ensure the racism against Indians and attacks on India online is controlled. But not India, for all its economic and diplomatic might. I haven't heard of a single embassy taking this up with a local government yet. Not heard a single politician in India talk about it yet. Even the media isn't talking that much about it. Hence the racism and hate against Indians continues. It is getting worse. And Indians are having to face real-world consequences including threats to their lives. Hope the govt of India, India's leaders, media all do their part in fighting this war imposed on India. This is as bad as cross border terrorism and foreign sponsored insurgency.
Why the fuck are Indians hated so much? What have they done to deserve this level of hatred? Have Indians promoted terrorism? Have they colonized your countries? Enslaved your people? Stolen your homes? Taken away your families? Kidnapped your children? What exactly have millions of ordinary Indians done to deserve this much racism and hostility? Is it because they're educated, intelligent, ambitious, hardworking, and competing for the same jobs as you? Since when did intelligence and ambition become crimes? Since when did working hard to build a better life become a reason to be hated? If your problem is job displacement, then why aren't you directing the same anger toward artificial intelligence? Why not question AI? Why not question ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Anthropic, OpenAI? AI has the potential to displace far more jobs than Indian immigrants ever could. Yet somehow, the Indian engineer, the Indian student, the Indian doctor, and the Indian worker become your enemies. Why? Because it's easier to target a human being with a different skin colour or accent than to confront the actual economic forces changing your world? And understand one thing clearly. If an Indian refuses to engage with your racism, if they ignore your insults, if they choose not to respond to your hatred, it doesn't mean they lack a spine. It means your hatred isn't worth their time. Indians don't owe you an apology for being educated, ambitious, hardworking, successful, or simply existing. Being Indian is not a crime. Being successful is not a crime. And your insecurity is not a justification for racism.

Why is the PERM suspension not just a visa issue, but the intertwining of three critical India-US pressure points? 🇮🇳-🇺🇸 1. Stalled bilateral trade negotiations. 2. Demands for unilateral satellite & tech market access. 3. Shareholder vs. talent mobility realities. Plus, why US protectionism risks backfiring on its own innovation goals. I join @NEWS9Live with @VergheseScribe , to explain this 3-corridor friction. #H1B #PERM #GreenCard #USIndia #TechEconomy

My views on further reforms that the government can consider for #GST China's GST rates on most goods is at 13%, and on professional services, it is 6%, while im India, it is 18%. Also, the multiple tax rates lead to the challenges of inverted GST duty regime @Sanjay_Sriv

You still think the world ISN'T run from one center? Kim Jong Un, ruler of the most "isolated" country on Earth, went to school in Switzerland. Under a fake name. Minutes from Bern. Bashar al-Assad trained as an eye doctor in London. Xi Jinping's daughter studied at Harvard under a pseudonym. Pol Pot studied in Paris. So did Deng Xiaoping and Zhou Enlai. The "enemies of the West" keep getting shaped in the West. Now look at the "friends." Macron. Jacinda Ardern. Sanna Marin. All WEF Young Global Leaders, picked BEFORE they ran their countries. Merkel and Blair? Both in the WEF's "Global Leaders for Tomorrow" class of 1993. Years before either took power. Klaus Schwab said it out loud at Harvard in 2017: "We penetrate the cabinets." His words. On camera. The kings and emirs of Jordan, Qatar and Brunei all trained at ONE British military academy: Sandhurst. Bill Clinton and three Australian prime ministers went through ONE scholarship, created by the will of Cecil Rhodes. Imran Khan, Benazir Bhutto, Indira Gandhi, Aung San Suu Kyi, Viktor Orbán: all Oxford. Shahs, princes and kings: Le Rosey, Switzerland. They literally call it "the school of kings." And every year since 1954, around 130 politicians, bankers and CEOs meet behind closed doors at Bilderberg. No press. No minutes. No statement. Meanwhile the world's central bankers gather every two months in Basel, at a bank whose building Swiss police cannot enter. Different flags. Different anthems. Different "ideologies." Same schools. Same clubs. Same rooms. They fight on your screen and dine at the same table. You were told these are coincidences. How many coincidences does it take before you call it a system? Follow the classrooms, not the flags.
