Ethically speaking, the fact that they are still trying to lay the blame for their own actions - repeated ones! - on authors of color is unforgivable. RWA could have saved itself. It didn’t. Let it go. (4/4)

My office is in a fairly industrial warehouse-heavy area and even with that context it took me at least two minutes of real horror to figure out that the truck I passed that said GENUINE CAT PARTS on the side was talking about tractors.

We opened our Santa’s sleigh Lego set and it was missing one of the reindeer, so I contacted Lego via the form on their website and got the cutest personal message back.
Hi Jamaila, I hope you're well. Oh No!! How on earth are 3 reindeers supposed to pull a sleigh weighing 40 million tonnes around the globe by themselves. 😲 I'm so sorry. You will need that 4th reindeer I think. Sorry that our system couldn't automatically validate your request but I have and a very helpful and enthusiastic reindeer is winging his way to you as I write this.😍 He will take anywhere between 7-10 business days to reach you, well because he is only a reindeer after all. Called in a panic to make sure I’d already registered my kid for theatre tomorrow and when I said her name, the person who answered the phone said “Oh! We LOVE her. Don’t worry, if she’s not on there I’ll PERSONALLY ignore the waitlist and put her in.” Watch out, Broadway. 😂

I’m back on my tiny desserts bullshit. These are peanut butter mousse with graham cracker cake base and chocolate ganache. Edible gold leaf on top didn’t come out exactly the way I wanted but they’re delicious.
