I got this joke when I was 8.
The internet revealed to me that there are now 20 years old who don’t get it.
I literally say this about every single “nepo baby.”
Are we supposed to go up to every trade shop that has “& Sons” and piss on their doorstep?
Sylvester Stallone says that having his daughter in a major role in ‘TULSA KING’ Season 4 is absolutely nepotism.
“First they go, ‘Nepotism is terrible. I said, ‘Oh please, you’re not a good parent if you haven’t performed a little nepotism.' Then obviously you don’t care about your kids, because they come first.
Of course it’s nepotism, you idiot. That’s why we’re parents. We want the best for our children. So obviously, we let them have every advantage.”

Also, pls understand one of the biggest roles I was up for was down to a Wayans or me for the guy & a Foxx or another actress for the lady. Sometimes ppl buy in on things from name (or facial) recognition. Sometimes casting these ppl in means added support for the project, etc.
Last thing, I’m not saying, don’t tear the system down (destroy it all) or don’t call out unqualified ppl. But “nepo baby” at large doesn’t bother me, while nepotism *can* promote unqualified, it’s not the default. The Wayans for example make it hard for me to shun it outright.
Amanda Seyfried is NOT casting judgement on Guardians of the Galaxy NOW. She is recounting the judgment she cast on it BEFORE. Please don’t spin this into her shitting on Guardians. You’re all better than that.
Amanda Seyfried says she turned down Guardians of the Galaxy because she thought a talking tree and raccoon in space would ruin her career
"I think turning down Guardians of the Galaxy was just I mean, it’s it was so obvious to me at the time. I’m like, this is not going to be a hit. Like they’re talking, the tree and the raccoon are talking to each other. They’re in space. And also they’re all in space. Yeah. And I was just like I I this will ruin my career if this is bad. And there’s a high chance that this could be bad"
"I mean, obviously I was wrong. But I still don’t take back that decision. I made it for myself. I made it for my my family that I knew I wanted to have. And I and I just don’t want to spend all the time in the makeup trailer"
"I just I I I I don’t I can’t sit still anyway. Um and I really don’t like stunts and I don’t like heights and I don’t like pretending the entire world. I need something to hold on to"
"Not saying it’s not. It’s just not for me"
Beyond story or Deadpool facing a different TVA than Loki, Loki was de-powered, Deadpool was at full power. I think another key difference was Deadpool not giving a fuck. Loki was bewildered by everything (higher power of it all), Deadpool just never cared, making escape “easy.”
How was Deadpool able to escape the TVA and kill its agents, while Loki, an actual GOD, seemed almost powerless against them?
Deadpool is unpredictable, but Loki is a literal god with centuries of experience, magic, and combat skills.
So what made Deadpool such a problem for the TVA when Loki struggled to fight back?
Did Marvel make Deadpool too powerful, or is there something about the TVA that we’re missing?
I have explicit ties to Israel, he was my childhood best friend.
We were inseparable until we cut ties when I went to a different school.
Later, he dated my sister. Until they also cut ties.
Cancel me. Cancel my family.
