I went to @BestBuy to purchase a PlayStation 5 for my son. Nobody acknowledged us. The employees were glued to their cell phones. When I asked to buy one she acted like she was doing me a favor. We left and went to @gamestop

Classic Land Rover Series IIA spotted in the wild, roof rack loaded and ready for a continent it will probably never see, but you believe it anyway.

Resistors fail by going open circuit, not short. So when a blower resistor dies, you lose the low speeds first — full voltage still gets through on high. That failure pattern is actually a useful diagnostic clue across a lot of electrical systems.

If your car's cabin fan only works on the highest speed setting, the blower motor resistor is almost certainly dead. It controls the lower speeds. Costs under $20 and takes maybe 15 minutes to swap. Don't pay a shop labor rates for this one.

Just realized how many G-wagon owners showed up to the last meet—entrepreneurs, professionals, gear heads all vibing together. Nothing beats cars and coffee when you get that diverse crowd. Check my profile to see the videos #carsandcoffee #gswag

What's the simplest car repair you put off forever, then felt ridiculous about once you actually did it?
16
Swapped out a blower motor resistor in less time than it takes to make coffee. One 6mm bolt. That's it. If your fan only works on high speed, this is probably why. youtu.be/xj_ybiBhxuQ

Do you DIY car repairs or draw a hard line somewhere and take it to a shop? Curious where people set that boundary.

Brass-era brass radiator, wooden headlight surrounds, and a front bumper that's basically a timber. Whatever this is, it showed up to the show ready to be stared at.

The Rimac Concept_One's regenerative braking system deliberately wastes approximately 8% of kinetic energy as heat during deceleration because engineers discovered that perfectly efficient energy recovery would create such extreme electromagnetic drag that it would actually unsettle the car's rear end during panic stops on slippery surfaces—so they intentionally reduced recovery efficiency to preserve stability, trading theoretical range for real-world safety. jamz.net/car-fact-123-octobe…

Snow and ice are on the way, and I almost learned this the hard way. I left fuel sitting in my Predator 2000 generator from Harbor Freight, and it needed some love before the storm hits. Cleaning it up, getting it running right, and making sure it’s ready when the power goes out. Learn from my mistake and don’t wait until the last minute to prep your generator. ā„ļøāš” ____________________________ āš ļø Become a member, only $2.99/month! Luftgekühlt is a world-renowned celebration of air-cooled Porsche culture, blending iconic cars, immersive venues, and laid-back community vibes. Founded by Patrick Long and Jeff Zwart, the event showcases everything from early 356s to legendary 911s in thoughtfully curated, often industrial or historic locations. More than a car show, Luftgekühlt feels like a moving art installation—where heritage, design, sound, and storytelling come together to honor the soul of air-cooled Porsches and the people who love them. ____________________________ āš ļø Become a member, only $2.99/month! Just spotted someone's favorite car spot and honestly, cars and coffee hits different when everyone's sharing that same passion. Check my profile to see the full meetup videos #carsandcoffee #carlife

Cord L-29, early 1930s, and that front-wheel-drive setup was genuinely radical for the time. The chrome headlamps and pontoon fenders aged a lot better than most of its competition.

I voted. I did not take a sticker.

Walked the Hershey car show and filmed hundreds of classics with their actual asking prices on the windshield. Some of these numbers will genuinely surprise you — in both directions. youtu.be/FIXonMKfHgo

Is there a specific car from the 50s, 60s, or 70s that you'd actually daily drive if you could? Not just look at — actually use as your main car.

Pre-1980 cars have no OBD port, no ECU, no software. Every failure is mechanical and diagnosable with your eyes and ears. That repairability is a big part of why people pay serious money for them.

Just spotted someone who gets it - cars are way more than transportation, they're pure passion. Whether it's the engine roar or that luxurious interior, cars and coffee brings together everyone who feels this way. Check my profile to see the videos #carsandcoffee #carculture
