Why are the only ads aimed at midlife women about menopause? Because the industry needs grown-ass women telling our own damn stories!

Lubna Speitan, author of the Greens4Palestine motion “Zionism is racism”, spells out the central obscenity of our age – the grotesque inversion whereby the victims of ethnic cleansing, Apartheid and genocide must constantly fend off accusations from their tormentors that it is they who are the racists.
“We as Palestinians are being silenced and gaslit and vilified [as we] witness the annihilation, the cold-blooded murder of our families, of our people… our children burnt with phosphorus, having to endure amputations with no anaesthetic, having their limbs torn and shredded, their bodies burnt by phosphorus, being starved to death … And to have to sit here … and try to bury my feelings so I can eloquently and diplomatically shield my anger, my rage, my anguish that every Palestinian is feeling, is an insult.” /1

🚨 CONTEXT: 95% of Black British pupils have experienced racism at school, according to a @ymca report in October 2020. 6 years later, no action has been taken on this.
In comparison, the government accepted all 27 recommendations of David Bell's antisemitism study after 1 day.

95%* of Black children in the UK have heard or directly experienced racist abuse at school.
It is interesting that there was no action taken after that report.

Yell “fire”, there’s a slim chance you might get saved by someone.
Yell “rape”, there’s very high chance that 50 men will respond in a group chat and 15% of them will stand in line for their turn.
RFK Jr said "Infertility is genetic. If your parents can't have kids, neither can you."
Thats who’s in charge of women’s health in America Folks ….
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
RFK Jr. did not say "Infertility is genetic. If your parents can't have kids, neither can you." The quote is an older joke that circulated online since at least 2022 and in humor books from 1997-2002 before being misattributed to him.

Cornell had a town hall of sorts on campus tonight. In solidarity, a lot of students are calling for the president to step down.
I see a lot of my fellow alums saying, don’t just blame Cornell, it’s not only us. I think everyone knows that this is a crisis on every college campus. But if our school can be the ground zero for change, that would be a good thing.
As a very involved alum, I am a longtime member of the President’s Council of Cornell Women and Cornell University Council, I am ashamed of our university, and every alum should be as well. 35% of our undergraduate women have experienced sexual assault, up from 23% two years ago. Out of more than 1,200 cases that were brought to our college, less than a dozen resulted in expulsions. That is not acceptable in any way. There is nothing to be proud of here, except the possibility that our students will take the lead in bringing change.
