@openlibhums please send help! We've trapped zombie journal mad scientist Dr. Elsie Veer in our office cage here at @M_Publishing but I don't think it's going to hold her very long... #OAWeek #OAWeek2023

OK, good, but there's still a substantial risk of several of these public goods going bankrupt and disappearing...

Our universities have been treated with contempt for too long, so I went to @KingsCollegeLon to say this government will treat them as engines of growth and opportunity, a public good not a political football.
Birkbeck IT services (including email) are offline and will likely be off for the entire week. Our support desk remains operational as it’s independent. Email us there or hop on Discord if you need us.

Unfortunately, a tabloid newspaper has got hold of a music video I recorded in Islington North with an iconic grime artist I've admired for years.
They are planning to publish a heavily edited clip, so I'm releasing the full version myself. Watch here: tinyurl.com/yeymfb96

I'm so delighted with the new journal sites - genuinely dynamic and allow our university press to compete with other academic publishers. Here's a great example - HERJ has a blog page, allowing authors to write conversationally about their research.
Shout out @janeway_systems
