artificial intelligence is one thing, and general intelligence is one thing
its like comparing a fish with a horse
artificial intelligence cant necessarily be or even get close to replicate the human mind, because it would be going against its own being if it did - its own coding and its own abilities to be better than a human mind.
its a flaw which goes to show that AI is one species and AGI is another, you could always ADD the current intellect of AI on top of AGI but you should not be able to add AGI on top of AI.

If you did create something, then awesome, very well done. But going around believing no one else can do the same is pure ignorance.
The people who made these discoveries decided to walk their own path and not follow the masses, which means more people can do the same.
