DSA is one of the best laws the EU ever made, here to protect from bad stuff big-tech does or could do. US is not staying behind - inspired by DSA - US court just settled with META for $18B - btw a massive "bargain" for Meta, who got away easy and light... DSA allows us to have transparency, transparent reports, understanding if actually the media demonized "trusted flaggers" are truly demons (hint: they are not). In an extreme translation a US nonprofit provided to governments in their local languages to make it sound much worse than it is, in an extreme situation where national laws get hijacked by a rogue government - it "could" be abused. OK, but then we would all be screwed... But who am I to comment on this, I only do social media data studying for the last 20 or so years, have the biggest engine understanding social media fraud in the world...
