I made this knowing full well that she could make one about me every day that's 1000 times worse. 😬 I will let you know how the rest of the day goes. 🤣
Here's the thing. A partnership with LG is not ideal. Great TVs and other things, but the timing of the privacy issues are not great. Really hoping for something like Unifi. I'll hear them out, but I kinda went ehh... when I heard.
I'm literally the target customer. New house, want to get smart devices for it asap. So - we'll see.
Thoughts?
Here’s your first look at home accessories Apple has co-developed with LG. 🧵
1. LG Smart Deadbolt Lock
• The keypad rotates to open. You can use the included swivel pin to limit the rotation on one side so it doesn’t touch a wall.
• Settings for Touchpad Light Ring, Door Left Audio Alarm, and Lock Sound Volume.
• Supports automatic unlocking, tap to unlock, emergency power and master codes.
• Fits 2.375 in (60.3 mm) and 2.75 in (69.9 mm) brackets.
• Comes with 2 mechanical keys.
I wanted to see the variable aperture up close, so I made this little video to show it.

Here I am just smiling from ear to ear, because not only are we listening to the Beatles together, but she made one of her first jokes. ☺️
Hey @Allegiant, anyone answer your phones? I’ve been on hold for over and hour and would love to talk with someone. I promise I’m nice! 😁
Good news everyone! I chatted with Rose from @Allegiant helped me out and was so awesome! Thank you so much! Problem solved!!
