AI unlocks everybody to do 90% of just about anything. Stopping at just 90% gives you a slop cannon.
Closing the last 10% is what gives you that 100x AI productivity boost. The people you want on your team are the ones that can close the 10% gap for some specific domain.
Got hit yesterday morning. Felt like a simple bump until we saw a car midair skidding by us on the passenger side.
I'll run agents in a single session for weeks before formalizing their job.
The goal is to build agents that don't need me, but in the beginning that isn't possible.
So we figure out the job together. Once things are running smoothly, I ask: 👇
What makes you you: your access, your runbook, or your state?
Running you in a tmux session isn’t a long-term solution, so I need to know how durable you are. Do a self-analysis and highlight the gaps:
State: Is your state durable, or does it only live in your context and memory? If so, it can’t be transferred to another agent.
Runbook: Are your SOPs and instructions documented somewhere another agent could pick them up?
Work: Where does the state of your work live?
The test: if I stopped you right now without a handoff doc, could something else take your place easily?
Initially others are going to laugh when they see you being “unreasonable” with agents. It’s funny until you realize it should be everyone’s default approach.
At this point I don't know the difference between a Connector, Plugin, App, or Extension and I'm too afraid to ask.
I have over 100 agent sessions running locally. Today I gave them all an MCP to reach me over Telegram. Feels like publishing my phone number on the internet for anyone to call.
We've never been able to react to security threats as fast as we can now. I was able to rotate a handful of exposed API keys in minutes thanks to ChatGPT this morning.
Thoroughly confused how I blew through $20 on Muse Wonder Full with my first coding task, and now I'm barely making a dent on the $200 plan. Better find ways to use it now.

Surround yourself with people who see a flying car and say, "Awesome!"
Not people who see a flying car and say, "It's not actually flying" or "I don't see the point."
This post is not about cars :)
Maybe we should start a competitor to Amazon 🤔
amazon is blocking grok @bots from ordering, and elon's answer is just have your bot buy it somewhere else.
one of my grok bots only handles my amazon returns, so i'm watching this one closely.
would you switch stores for your bot? 🛒
Elon, i think its time for an X Shop? 👀
What if we got rid of standard working hours and you were done for the day once you'd burned through your AI subscriptions?

As CEO of Product Hunt, I see hundreds of launches a week. One trait separates winners from losers.
Every few months, new models come out. Some products become better, effortlessly. Some don't improve, or become irrelevant.
This property needs a name. I'm calling it Buoyancy.
Buoyant startups rise with model improvements the way a boat rises with the tide.
Anti-buoyant startups come in two flavors: over-scaffolded (which hinders the new, smarter models) and too thin - which makes them redundant when models improve.
To be buoyant, you need a "hull" - usually proprietary data, a vertical-specific harness, network effects, or distribution advantage. This hull keeps you buoyant as models improve.
Hulls are the new moats.
My number one advice to startups in 2026: Be buoyant. Find your hull.

Omarchy on a picture frame!?
Inspired by @wesbos photo-frame project, I got @OmarchyLinux running natively on a $50 digital photo frame.
Allwinner A33, 1 GB RAM, Mali-400 GP, Arch Linux ARM booted from microSD.
I had to build a custom SD boot path, adapt Omarchy for armv7, fix display/touch rotation, bring up the AIC8800 Wi‑Fi driver, and manually enable the UART Bluetooth controller for BlueZ.
Now it boots straight into Hyprland/Omarchy with touch, on-screen keyboard, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth LE mouse/keyboard, and the original eMMC still untouched.
Has anyone else run Omarchy on one of these? @dhh
