Winnie has been with us for just over a week now, she has finished a course of treatment for a high internal parasite burden and is making great progress! Soon she will be moving to an outdoor hutch to continue gaining weight and acclimatise before release 💚🦔🐾

Norman still has a few injections left in his course of treatment but is making brilliant progress! He has been with us 12 days now, the first 4 were spent in an incubator as he was so critically ill and unable to maintain his temperature.

One of our release sites has shared this wonderful footage of Wallace taking his first steps back in the wild! Wonder if he is hibernating now we are in a cold spell, he was lucky and was able to be released in a good weather window a couple of weeks ago 💚🦔🐾

Introducing little Norman 👋 Admitted on the 25th from St Newlyn East, having been found out in the daytime. Dehydrated and hypothermic he has required intensive care to stabilise and has spent several days in one of our incubators with the temperature gradually being lowered.

We are thrilled that local businesses @StarLinenHire and Star Refuse have chosen to renew their sponsorship with us! These fantastic organisations work hard providing linen and towel hire plus refuse collection – vital services for holiday properties in the area.

2024 saw 1,428 admissions, as expected out in the day is our highest category, as a nocturnal animal this is usually a sign something is wrong! Sad to see so many dog attacks, injury & entanglements. Accidents do happen, but with awareness we can reduce these type of admissions🤞

Little Pie is on treatment for ringworm and a secondary bacterial infection in the base of some of his prickles. Thankfully he is responding well to treatment so far 🫶🦔🐾
