🚨 🚨 🚨 🚨 🚨 🚨 🚨 🚨 BREAKING NEWS: MEGAN BAYNE IS CASHING IN AT TRICK OR TREAT Dreamwave officials have been informed of a decision that completely changes the complexion of Trick or Treat on October 10th. @meganbayne is cashing in her Good As Gold Briefcase. And her target is Rebecca J. Scott and the Dreamwave Women’s Championship. This is not a hypothetical. This is not a warning that Bayne may be lurking somewhere in the shadows on October 10th. Megan has officially informed Dreamwave that she intends to exercise the championship opportunity she earned by winning the 2025 Women’s Good As Gold Rumble, outlasting a field of 30 competitors that included RJS herself. But there is something very different about this cash in. Rebecca J. Scott and Megan Bayne are best friends. Bayne had every right to say nothing. That is the power of Good As Gold. She could have waited until RJS had survived a war, appeared without warning, handed over the briefcase and taken advantage of whatever was left of the champion. Instead, Megan gave her best friend the courtesy of looking her in the eye and essentially saying… I’m coming for you. She has given RJS weeks to prepare for one of the most physically imposing competitors in professional wrestling. That sounds honorable. But there is another side to this story… Megan Bayne knows exactly what Rebecca J. Scott has to do earlier that night. Before RJS can even think about defending the Dreamwave Women’s Championship, she must put her Uprising Alternative Championship on the line against B3CCA, Laynie Luck and Tori Fox. If Rebecca survives that match, she will then have to somehow regroup and prepare to defend another championship against a fresh Megan Bayne. This is the danger that comes with being a double champion. By the time Trick or Treat arrives, that historic Alternative Championship reign will have stretched across more than 900 days. For more than two years, challengers have come and challengers have gone. RJS has survived singles matches. She has survived Scrambles. She has survived four ways. She has survived five ways. She has defeated champions to become a champion. And through all of it, Rebecca J. Scott has continued to find a way. There is a reason RJS has become synonymous with championship gold in Dreamwave and Uprising. But eventually the thing that makes you special can also become the thing that puts you in the most danger. Two championships means twice the responsibility. And at Trick or Treat, Rebecca J. Scott is going to experience the downside of being a double champion in the most brutal way possible. For RJS, however, there is another layer that no championship statistic can measure. Megan Bayne is not simply another challenger. These two have fought together. Bayne and Scott have stood on the same side of the ring and picked up victories together. They know one another. They trust one another. They are best friends. Now Megan Bayne has decided that friendship and opportunity are going to have to coexist. The Good As Gold Briefcase was created for exactly this kind of opportunity. After more than 900 days of making history, after becoming a double champion, after surviving challenger after challenger and building one of the most remarkable championship resumes in Dreamwave history…has Rebecca J. Scott finally accumulated more gold than even she can defend? On October 10th… Best friend or not. Megan Bayne will be waiting. Rebecca J. Scott vs. Megan Bayne. Dreamwave Women’s Championship. October 10th. Trick or Treat. And suddenly, one of the biggest nights of Rebecca J. Scott’s career may also become the night everything she has built comes crashing down. #DWTrick

🚨 Match Announcement 🚨 IT’S OFFICIAL! At The Hands We’re Dealt, Bobby Orlando made his intentions clear. With the Good As Gold Briefcase in his possession, Orlando announced that he would cash in his guaranteed championship opportunity against Connor Hopkins for the Dreamwave Championship on October 10th at Trick or Treat. The match has now cleared all sanctions and is officially set. For more than a year, Dreamwave Wrestling has been consumed by a war. On one side stands The Curse, led by Dreamwave Champion Connor Hopkins. On the other stands Team Dreamwave, led by Bobby Orlando, Channing Thomas, and Hartenbower, fighting to take back the company they love. There have been betrayals, battles, victories, and crushing defeats along the way. At No Escape, Team Dreamwave scored perhaps its greatest victory yet when they defeated The Curse inside the brutal Steel Divide Match. Dreamwave won the battle, but The Curse is still winning the war. The Dreamwave Championship belongs to Connor Hopkins. The Dreamwave Tag Team Championships belong to The Curse. The gold, the power, and control of Dreamwave Wrestling remain firmly in their hands. Now everything leads to October 10th. Bobby Orlando was never supposed to be the man standing here. The eccentric underdog has somehow become the unlikeliest of heroes in Dreamwave Wrestling. With the Good As Gold Briefcase, Orlando possesses the one thing The Curse has been unable to take away from him. A guaranteed opportunity to change everything. At Trick or Treat, Bobby Orlando will step into the biggest match of his Dreamwave career. Across the ring will stand Connor Hopkins. Behind Hopkins will be The Curse. Behind Bobby Orlando will be everyone who still believes Dreamwave Wrestling belongs to Dreamwave. For more than a year, this war has taken its toll. On October 10th, Bobby Orlando finally has the opportunity to strike at the heart of The Curse and take back the championship they value most. Can the unlikeliest hero in Dreamwave history bring its biggest prize home? Connor Hopkins vs. Bobby Orlando Dreamwave Championship Trick or Treat | October 10th
