There are faithful Christians who vote Republican.
There are faithful Christians who vote Democrat.
There are faithful Christians who spend seasons voting both or neither.
Our salvation and relationship with the Lord isn’t contingent on politics, despite what the world says.
The voting data coming in from the midterms is showing that young men broke Dem at an astounding clip.
Will they get the vitriol from the Christian right as single women did last cycle? Or will they just get a pat on the back?

Christians saying that everyone who votes Democrat wants to kill babies and trans kids is a lie. It's a line that bad faith actors have used to scare Christians, but it's a lie. If Christians can't be honest about others, they can't expect people to listen to them about anything.
To the conservative Christians who are seething about the Blue Wave and blaming those who didn't vote GOP:
Maybe screaming at conservatives who didn't "fall in line" and calling them "RINOs" wasn't the best strategy. As a former Republican, I can attest it's a turn off.

God smashed a lot of idols tonight. Pastors told Christians to vote for evil. Christians declined to do so.

If Republicans want to reach normie middle-of -the-road female voters maybe it’s time to stop the “jokes” about repealing the 19th amendment, putting down working women, and demonizing empathy.
Oh—and enough with the influencers who pretend to be average stay-at-home moms that tell other women not to work—-while working and employing a team of nanny’s and personal assistants.
Just spitballing.

James Talarico, a Democrat, is quoting Scripture in his victory speech, and the crowd is cheering.
Democrats don’t hate religion. We hate watching people weaponize it.
Faith isn't the problem. Using God as a weapon against your neighbors is.

One reason you don't want to claim your candidate is "God's candidate" or your party is "God's party" is that when that candidate or party loses, it becomes really apparent how small you've made God in order to support your own political opinions and aspirations.

This election appears to be a rebuke to the Christian Nationalists position that a you can’t be a Christian and vote Democrat.

Trumpism is the worst thing to ever happen to American politics.
A rebuke of epic proportions is more than warranted.
Happy election day.

Someone told me to "vote according to Biblical values!"
So I voted for welcoming immigrants, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, bringing healthcare to the sick, forgiving debts, caring for our planet, laying down our swords, and loving all our neighbors.
I see lots of conservative pundits and influencers (including pastors) practically begging their more moderate voters to vote GOP, and using fear tactics in the process.
If y'all picked quality candidates, you wouldn't be pleading.
I'd like the GOP folks who are suddenly sympathetic towards Stevens to remember how they treated Geoff Duncan and other never Trump Republicans who endorsed Harris.
Unless you are going to re-admit Duncan, Cheney, Kinzinger, etc, y'all aren't on the high ground here.
I have complicated thoughts on the Haley Stevens situation. And a lot of my thoughts involve keeping any partisanship on my end in check.
I'm a firm believer that the political climate would be more calmer if conservatives curbed the existential crisies each election. America will be fine if Democrats win. Move on and prepare better next time. The tribalism is ridiculous.
A Democrat candidate proclaimed his faith and the Gospel on Fox News.
It's a keen reminder that our faith isn't limited to the right. Praise God!

Mass deportation isn't just. It isn’t a triumph of the rule of law. It’s a product of Trump’s own hatreds and bigotries.
After pledging to deport the “worst of the worst,” he has decided to pursue otherwise law-abiding residents for deportation, even residents with American families. He has decided to detain people who are eligible for bonds. Again, that is not what the law requires. It is what Trump demands. nytimes.com/2026/10/29/opini…
