A quant trading firm gave an AI agent a research job: find short-horizon predictors of Bitcoin price movement. We worked with them to study how the AI infrastructure performs (and can be optimised) for this type of work.
On a dedicated 16xB200 cluster, a one-agent session took 24.8 minutes. With 64 agents sharing the same hardware, each took 93.1 minutes, but the cost per task fell from 17x.
